Sounds like a good idea! I have had a Sam’s card for many years but I didn’t renew it in August this past year. The reason is being alone, I just can’t handle the larger quantities anymore. My freezer went out and I decided not to purchase a new freezer for me. My husband and I loved to shop there for catfish filets and chicken tenders. And we always purchased things we weren’t looking for. We headed for the sampling tables, especially him....that caused us to buy other things....LOL! I sorta always resented having to buy a card to shop at their store anyway! Fair???

If you don’t get to the store pretty soon, you’ll have to find an old Montgomery Ward Catalog to use for paper towels, napkins, kleenex and..................

ROF!!

Well, we don’t have snow but it’s still cold enough that I have to let our two dogs sleep in the garage. Tomorrow night and Friday night are supposed to be single digit temps so I may have to put a heater out there for them.

Good morning (((Lady Jag))) :)
How are you today? It's been a busy day so far. Now I'll make meatballs and then slack off a bit. Sometimes, I wish there was really such a thing as global warming.

Home

Home is where your memories are,
It’s where your secrets are kept.
Home is where you’re happiest,
Yet home is where you’ve wept.

Home is where your parents live,
It’s where you were raised.
Home is where you’ve been scolded most,
Yet home is where you’re praised.

Home is where you make it,
It’s where you believe the myth,
That home is when you’re happy,
Just to love the ones you’re with.

I've got 20º. What do you have?

Supposed to get colder each day till Friday when highs might not get out of single digits.

Remember, live in the cold, live longer.

LOL :)

It’s 22 degrees. Not looking forward to single digits coming. I had to force the dog to go out. More snow tomorrow. Wish my daughter would get a snow day.

I just checked the DC ten day forecast. Party cloudy and sunny - all ten days - temps in the low thirties. (Would I be considered bad, if I said I secretly wished for blizzard conditions or pouring rain?)

Friends, I apologize for opening the doors so late.
When I woke up, I still had not decided how to Open the doors.
I found today's Opening Graphic and decided to use it, even tho I should have used it in December. :(

We are fogged in (almost like snowed in) with Tule Fog.
School buses have been cancelled which means attendance will be light.
Now we will watch the conditions to decide what time to take Marissa to school.

All of the talk about hot teas and flavored creamers has gotten to me.
I need to get a cup of coffee soon.
If it doesn't get any warmer, I may crawl back under the electric blanket. :)

See you in a few.

Procrastination is one thing I have been able to perfect.

Maybe you could improve on yours.

Read this, sign it, and return it to me whenever.

Procrastinator's Creed

1.      I believe that if anything is worth doing, it would have been done already.

2.     I shall never move quickly, except to avoid more work or find excuses.

3.     I will never rush into a job without a lifetime of consideration.

4.     I shall meet all of my deadlines directly in proportion to the amount of bodily injury I could expect to receive from missing them.

5.     I firmly believe that tomorrow holds the possibility for new technologies, astounding discoveries, and a reprieve from my obligations.

6.     I truly believe that all deadlines are unreasonable regardless of the amount of time given.

7.     I shall never forget that the probability of a miracle, though infinitely small, is not exactly zero.

8.     If at first I don't succeed, there is always next year.

9.     I shall always decide not to decide, unless of course I decide to change my mind.

10. I shall always begin, start, initiate, take the first step, and/or write the first word, when I get around to it.

11.  I obey the law of inverse excuses which demands that the greater the task to be done, the more insignificant the work that must be done prior to beginning the greater task.

12. I know that the work cycle is not plan/start/finish, but is wait/plan/plan.

13. I will never put off until tomorrow, what I can forget about forever.

14. I will become a member of the ancient Order of Two-Headed Turtles (the Procrastinator's Society) if they ever get it organized.

That's right! Half the snow has come on weekends. But it's unusual for me to hear a mom wishing for snow days...

Lori, thank you for this darling Graphic.
So sorry that I missed using it during Christmas.
Whenever I looked at it, I would think winter but Christmas never registered.
More senior moments. :)

Thank you again, I love it!!

Happy Foggy Wednesday.
Is it as bad there as here? We cannot see across the street.
Across the street is like 100 feet.
Marissa wants to leave but it is too dangerous.
