I was watching a TV program this last night, and one of the characters used an expression, that I am sure is a literary quote. I've tried searching the Web for it but no joy. Thought I'd check to see if it rang any bells with anyone here. The expression was:
"Liberty tweaks Justice by the nose."
Or possibly:
"Liberty tweaks the nose of Justice."
...Anyone?...
I found it here and in a law library — same reference:

I think that it attributed Governor Blagojevich. (If it isn’t, it should be.)
Thank you. It was bugging me. :o)
You’re welcome and I know how that is.
Actually, it’s more *about* him, and his ilk, than from him.

"When in doubt, empty the magazine"
Murphy's rules for combat.
Shakespeare- Measure for Measure. Act 1, scene 3.
"The right to swing your fist stops at the tip of my nose."
