The New Year week is here. Wishing you all the best.
A quick Monday morning start for the week.
Some people have way too much time on their hands.
Praying you’ll soon be fit as a fiddle or even more so.
I really don’t like going to the Dr. either.
THAT is very good news. It has been a while. Are you now pain free?
Bad feet are just incredible. Last year I began getting pain in my heels. So, I tried staying off my feet and while that helped, it didn’t help much. So, I went online and hunted up possible diagnosis and treatments. I guessed that it may be fallen arches so sometime around mid-October I purchased some shoe inserts, particularly with arch support and heel cushions.
I put them in my sneakers and everything. I often go barefoot in the house, but since October I’ve worn shoes everywhere.
What a difference! The foot pain is gone. I am back to wearing heals without added arch supports. I still wear those sneaks most of the time. I had no clue that flat feet would make for pain in the heels. But apparently, it does.
You are so right - a bad foot takes its toll on your body.
I am not completely pain free, as when the foot swells (and he said prob. for another 3 months) it hurts. But if I can keep off of it once it starts to swell it is fine. I can start back up walking in the mornings around the neighborhood, which really makes me happy!
Were those inserts gel filled? Dusty had injured his foot some time ago and we got those for his sneakers. Worked great.
Yes, they are.
It sounds like a very good plan. I was almost at the point where I could not walk at all.
Before he put 4 pins, a screw and a metal plate, I was in a lot of pain. But now it’s all gone. Thank you Jesus and thank you all here on ATRW for praying for me.
:)
OH my, I really killed the thread.
I think we share that honor.
Haha. How’s your weather? We’re to get intense storms tonight.
Dreary.
We’re clouded over and it is supposed to rain. It’s not too cold, but it isn’t really warm either. I need to get out for a little bit and get those azaleas in the ground. I’m not quite sure where I’ll put them.
Guess you and all have been following the murder case of the 2 year old in Fl, and I want to make a couple of comments on the investigation.
The deputies went to the scene when called by the meter man. Swampy area. Betcha the deputies NEVER got out of their car and walked into the area. It is called ‘didn't want to get feet wet’. If you don't go in you don't find anything. Possible that they did not want to run up on the kids body too.
Secondly, INVESTIGATORS should have been sent, not uniformed officers.
Now, there is a device used by law enforcement call a ‘voice stress test’ and it will pinpoint a lie in a New York second , make that a FLA second, the sound of ones voice. A VERY good tool in an investigation.
BUT, just all listen to this sorry girl, ANYONE of us can tell you she lies left and right.
Daddy should get right as well, he is a ex police officer, homicide detective I think, it would be tough on him but HE knows she is lying.
Toby
75 here today.
Just got back from the hen house, 19 eggs gathered.
You are too, too much. Boss is here today - my freeping is being severely limited! smoocheroos!
It sounds like things are right on schedule. I wish it were in the 70s here. My daffodils are out of the ground.
I’m glad you liked it. I give Rush permission to use it uncredited (and now, Rush, you don’t need to feel guilty [!] for stealing it). I just looked out the window. There is a very BLACK cloud in the west.
I aam really enjoying the Gay 90s songs on “It All Came True.”
74 here. Wow, what are you feeding those hens????? Are they sleeping on satin pillows????
Great news, kassie!
