Jemian, I hope you’re feeling somewhat better today. I had heard a report on Fox that the UK has been experiencing a flu that is just awful - they called it “like a plague.” Could you have that, I wonder?
There was no shot for it, as it was a surprise gift this year.
Also said it had made it’s way to the US. I heard this about a month ago.

I may also visit the doc today. For the first time in my long life, I seem to have an ear infection, and am light headed at times. It does not seem to be abating. :(
I really don’t like going to the doctor!!! Seems like a waste of time....no offense to doctors.

Kass, I haven’t heard from the warring parties, or anyone in my family for that matter. But apparently one of them sent their email to people outside the family. I DID hear from someone I’ve never met who said, “I don’t know you. I’ve never written you. I don’t have you in my address book.” The disclaimer went on for another two or three sentences. LOL! Now someone out there in the vast reaches of etherspace thinks I’m a total looney who sends out spam.
Dolly, I think you nailed it. Monday-Tuesday was the peak for this thing and it has gotten better since. Last night I felt well enough to get out of bed. Headache has gone into manageable regions. When the house warms up, I’ll see about being verticle.

The boys really had a wonderful Christmas and we are so thankful that we have them to give it to them. I am STILL saying that D and SIL will go for a little girl this year and soon too, they say ‘no’ but I know my daughter and she said, ‘I can't have anymore children so, why not’. I told them to find a little Hispanic girl so the boys could learn Spanish, can't repeat what D said but was told they would not be born speaking Spanish. Oh well, I tried.
Already got prisons calling requesting more christian books, they say they are a big hit with the inmates so, gotta get busy and start contacting churches and preachers.
Got to do some house cleaning today, no, not mine, the ‘girls’ coop. Oh well, get something to put around the bushes, Flowers, trees, you name it cause I got plenty in that coop.
Needless to say I am looking forward to ‘chatting’ with all you ‘youse girls and fellas too’, so many smiles come across my old face reading your posts, etc.
All have a good day and please, all hang on to your chairs cause we are fixing to really take a ride with the new president, so many things are going to vanish we are so use to.

RINO virus: (noun) an affliction which affects most republicans as soon as they reach Washington, DC. It is an odd virus because it appears to have no gestation period and affects the person within the beltway confines of DC. It is immediately lifted when said "republican" returns to their constituency where the politician immediately begans espousing conservative principles. There is no cure for this malady and no term limit for it either.
Usage in a sentence: John McCain is afflicted with the RINO virus.

Just back from the dr. He has released me with a 2 thumbs up and a great big smile. He is the best!! Anyone in the Katy area every needing a podiatrist/surgeon let me know.
