Happy New Year, HOB. Actually, this thing has only gone on for 1 week. It just seems longer because my last illness was so severe. But it hasn't exceeded the normal run for the rhino virus.

RINO virus: (noun) an affliction which affects most republicans as soon as they reach Washington, DC. It is an odd virus because it appears to have no gestation period and affects the person within the beltway confines of DC. It is immediately lifted when said "republican" returns to their constituency where the politician immediately begans espousing conservative principles. There is no cure for this malady and no term limit for it either.

Usage in a sentence: John McCain is afflicted with the RINO virus.
