Bluffton, In - Authorities say a Bluffton man apparently drowned when a skid loader he was operating fell into a manure lagoon in Wells County. An Indiana conservation officer says 23 yr old Nicholas Cruz had been cleaning out a cattle lot at Sunny Park Dairy and dumping manure into the lagoon when he apparently lost control of the skid loader.

Icy conditions probably contributed to the accident. Lord, have mercy.

You need to watch a couple of the SAW movies. Not with kids, BTW. You’ll find a few ways to go that are worse.

I just can't imagine a more horrific demise.Actually, there was a thread here not too long ago about a man who drowned in a septic tank.

As a kid, we were in europe on vacation. One night, there was a nearby fireworks display and I went running across a dark field to get closer to the display. I ran right into a sewage settling pond.

OMG, gross.Gross indeed. Many times I've thought about that night running across the field and how there were no lights and no fence. I vividly recall for a split second wondering where the ground went. During the initial splash, I must have instinctviely held my breath. I remember the disoriented feel as I was totally submerged and once I touched bottom, I instinctively rocketed to the the surface. The fun wasn't over yet because once I reached the bank and it was a rather high steep bank, the crawl up took me through a bunch a stinging nettles.

You must love telling your kids that story when they complain about some minor inconvenience.

could you really keep a straight face . . .
Hey...his name was Cruz; around this area we all know that Asians are expert drivers compared to the Hispanics. This accident is not surprising.

I don't do too many movies, unless they are Doris Day, Van Johnson, Clark Gable, etc, etc. Pictures stay with me for a long time, so I avoid most things after pg rating. Thanks anyway. In my younger years, I stood in the closet to avoid the scary scenes in movies, now I just avoid movies.

I don’t either. I have just seen some small snippets of these movies on youtube. I haven’t been to see a movie in years. Don’t plan on going back.

Seriously, though; what do you think his two last words were?Hard to know for certain if the first word was "oh" or "holy", but the second word is in little doubt.
