Is somebody missing from this thread? I think we’re one troll short. I wonder who it could be.
Merry Christmas.
As someone without cable, is this available as a stream?
Heck, I won't even watch a historical documentary that references BCE/CE instead of the correct BC/AD. F'* the anti-Christs...
To be honest I have become very cautious watching video regarding religion, especially by PBS, History Channel and Discovery.
I've taught over 20 Amish girls how to weave, and these are the kinds of mistakes they make.
I have the linen, but had to sell that loom. Perhaps I will buy it back and get it done. Am only 62 now. I figure I have 25 plus or minus years left to get this done.
I will donate it to the church where I was baptized.
I do not think that it is ‘the one’. But it is similar.
There was a time when I was looking at the photos. It reminded me of an old package of hamburger where the liquid has puddled in the bottom and soaked through the wax layer and rippled the surface of the paper.
Someone was dead inside this fabric, but I am not sure who. Look at the copy cat stuff we have today. Shoe hurlers etc. People are the same, there were copy cats in 1300 too.

Product Description
Potrait of Jesus? is a comprehensive and up-to-the-minute account of the Shroud of Turin which, according to legend, was the garment which covered Jesus in the tomb. Frank Tribbe has for many years been a member of the elite group of scientists and researchers studying the Shroud. His book takes all their findings into account to show that, contrary to claims that it is a medieval hoax, the Shroud is an authentic first-century relic from the Near East, probably Palestine. The massive evidence which Tribbe presents from decades of research makes Portrait of Jesus? the best resource for knowledge about the Shroud. This edition contains updates on all findings to the present. “This book pulls together all existing information on the Shroud…It also provides ingenious theories of how the Shroud found its way from the Jerusalem of the Apostles to the France of the 14th century… . The reasonable man may find it harder than he imagines to dismiss the Shroud of Turin after reading this book.” -James C. O’Neill, National Catholic News Service “Comprehensive and accurate information… .” -Rev. Adam J. Otterbein, C.SS.R., S.T.D., President of the Holy Shroud Guild “An invaluable resource for us all… especially important for every thinking Christian.” -Rev. Dr. Edward J. Bauman, Senior Minister of Foundry United Methodist Church, Washington, DC

I’ve checked the Discovery Channel schedule online and also my local on-screen guide, and I can’t find it being shown at all. I checked all the Discovery-related channels, and it isn’t showing up anywhere. Can you tell me where you found this information?
Just a short note to let you know that the Discovery Channel has moved the rebroadcast of the new documentary, "Unwrapping The Shroud: New Evidence" to Monday, December 22, 2008 at 7:00pm. It will not be airing tonight (Saturday). Of course, an earlier time slot on a weekday will reach a larger audience. Once again, please check your local listings for the exact time in your area, although the last minute schedule change might not yet be reflected.
TV Guide still shows it playing tonight, but the Discovery Channel website now lists it for Monday.
Happy Holidays!
Warmest regards,

Nope. it’s 10:06 right now, and yet another episode of Myth Busters is on. I checked ahead on the schedule, and it’s not on a midnight EST, either.
