A true natural beauty. No bolt on implants, no trout pout. Just pure gorgeousness! RIP Mis Bettie.

A class act, back when we all weren't so saturated with sex by the TV and movies that the well-presented slyness of her suggestion was beyond erotic. Ahhh, youth. (Mine, that is.)
If you modern boys want a good idea of it, go rent Disney's Rocketeer. The hero's girlfriend was purposly modeled on Betty to try and capture the era for the film.

Lemme ask you something......
How miserable does ones life have to be that they can't look at something EVER and have something nice to say? Is their life that miserable and full of envy or is it some type of mental illness that makes them desire conflict and seek out conflict.
I am sure glad my life is not that miserable.

Some people have sticks lodged so far up their rectum, that they see something sleazy in an innocent cheesecake shot. It's best to ignore such people- their own attitudes about life are their own worst punishment.
On a different note, the librarian at my law firm is the spitting image of Betty Page (just shorter).

A good reminder that no matter how young you are, no matter how beautiful, it all comes to an end.

Thankfully the good ole fashion pin-up is not a totally lost art. Here is something more recent. Isla Fisher. http://bp0.blogger.com/_9WP1azXfKng/SFPlHdgSB0I/AAAAAAAAAM4/nTOEDgpiDCM/s1600-h/IslaFisher.jpg

Whether someone acts and looks like a SLUT, years ago or today - makes no difference to me. The slut look is the slut look.
I’m not “miserable”. Just stating FACTS.
The slut look appears to be timeless.
What I find sad is that this woman left behond a CHEAP reputation and a legacy of half dressed images. That’s nothing to be proud of.
Then again, there are people like you who probably have hopless sex lives - get off on this. Thankfully we have a solid marriage. My spouse doesn’t need to make money looking like a dime store slut for attention of money.

It may have been a little unkind to call a recently dead woman a slut, especially on a thread where people have gathered in her memory.

You sure like using the word ‘slut’ a lot. Ever thought of adding a ‘the ripper’ suffix to your name?

In an interview published in Playboy magazine in 2007, Page expressed mixed feelings about her achievements. "When I turned my life over to the lord Jesus I was ashamed of having posed in the nude," she said. "But now, most of the money I've got is because I posed in the nude. So I'm not ashamed of it now. But I still don't understand it."Very, very sad

Talk about cheap. Your comments on the occasion of Bettie Page's death at age 85 are a good illustration of that.

I was in (or just got out of) the Navy when she was in her heyday. I scandalized my mom and sister by having Bettie's pics up on the wall of my room. She WAS one Helluva hottie and I know she permeated a lot of juvenile - and not so juvenile - minds.
A heartfelt R.I.P. to her memory.
