Other than the styling, she’s worthy of a pinup in today’s market.

She was most definitely hot. Look for San Fransisco to declare a day, week or month of mourning. There are a lot of sad drag queens today.

She was an astonishingly beautiful woman who was hot enough to melt titanium.

She found Jesus later in life.

RIP, Betty.

She actually became a born-again Christian in her later years and worked for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Rest in Peace Bettie. You lived a life that was full of sadness and joy. I pray your rest is peaceful.

“spark the next decade’s sexual revolution”

Being a Boomer I beg to differ. IT WAS OUR PARENTS WHO HAD ALL OF US.

How many times have I looked up at my Dad's work shop wall, wide-eyed and jaw dropped? A young boy with hormones working overtime. Thanks for those times Bettie. Rest in Peace sweetie.

She was the girl who started my interest in girls! I remember the first time I saw her picture in one of my Dad’s “Photography” magazines. And I thought, “Yeah! So that’s why there’s girls!” I musta been about 10, so figure ‘55/’57.
RIP,
