I have two jobs, both paying just under 6 figures.

No, I'm not lying.

And another guy just came at me for yet another job. Had to tell him no.

I must be at the top of my game.

If there is a hyperskilled .NET guy, who’s had some financials (esp. trading) and knows anything about Dundas Charts, I can get him 50/hr by Tuesday. Must want to move to Hotlanta.

Useful. Thanks. I have four jobs now but ya never know...

(Of course, all of them pay in increasingly worthless dollars...)

Linked-in is very powerful. After you enter in people you know, there is a job search that can be ranked by your connections to that company. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

This outfit is from myneck of the woods, the Southern Tier of NYS. Got 83 job listings on it at the moment. Maybe something interesting enough that folks who aren't local might consider relocating....

www.TwinTiersHelpWanted.com

NYS needs all the hardworking, tax-paying folks we can get our hands on :)

My sister was at www.careerbuilders.com They are still sending me offers.

By the way, I’ve had a couple of phone calls to me from people looking for engineers:

They need a gas turbine specialist in the mid-US at around 100,000.00

Couple of places need a power plant configuration manager, or power plant design manager, at around 90,000.00 - 110,000.00+

Notice the low level of response to this post? Note the lack of panic in most of those who respond?

WHAT recession??!?

Bookmarking for myself, ‘cause one never knows, and for a friend who needs it right now ... and fyi, the world is slowly and surely returning to balance, at least my little corner of it.
