You are right. In fact, there are TWO threads over in Breaking as I type this.
"Chat" used to be like purgatory here on FR, but it became so misused that one has to be foolish not to look at everything that anyone posts anywhere here at FR.

CBS radio on the hour said 15 years, plus one extra year for using a gun. OJ must serve a min of 6 years.

I only heard it once, and as I heard it I was adding along, so I may turn out to have missed it by a year, but it’s definitely more than five. The thing that’s being overlooked is that the first group of sentences run together, the second group run together, but the second group don’t start until after the first.
I suspect because it didn't have a good article link. The second one did.
This is going to end up being pretty funny. Everybody heard the same thing, nobody came up with the same numbers. We’ll have to wait for the actual sentencing memo, probably.

I've posted breaking news before without a link and then hit "abuse" on myself immediately after I find a link. Observation is that it depends on the mod and how busy they are as to how long they give you before yanking/moving.

Mark Fuhrman said it right..OJ showed the world who he truly is..A Street Thug who thought he was above the law...
He has been in constant trouble since the murders of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown that *HE* alone committed...
Well, the Goldmans sort of got it right, too. The man’s a sociopath, they believe they’re smarter and more entitled than the rest of us, and the one thing that pushes their buttons is to have someone call them to account for their behavior. By keeping up the act of calling him to account, they helped provide the pressure that assured he’d do something stupid.
His arrogance got him into all of this and he, and he alone, is responsible for the fall he’s taken, but they helped grease the skids.
As usual OJ lying thru his teeth.
Also heard he will be in solitary confinement for his own protection. (???)
Hope he rots in jail till the end of his miserable life.
