Cystic Fibrosis Is Too White to Cure [Update @ post 45]

Finding a cure for cystic fibrosis has been deemed politically incorrect, on the grounds that this awful disease tends to effect those who deserve to suffer — the source of all evil, male Caucasians:

OTTAWA - The Carleton University Students' Association has voted to drop a cystic fibrosis charity as the beneficiary of its annual Shinearama fundraiser, supporting a motion that argued the disease is not "inclusive" enough.

Cystic fibrosis "has been recently revealed to only affect white people, and primarily men" said the motion read Monday night to student councillors, who voted almost unanimously in favour of it.

Here I was thinking racism was a purely imaginary problem, like global warming. But among progressives, it is not only real but vicious.

At the same time, the next time that someone asks me for help or donation on something that is not ‘inclusive enough’, such as HIV, or Sickle-cell Anemia, etc. I can simply quote CUSA rationale. So Carleton University will have a ‘precedent’ in their name, and perhaps even a new wikipedia definition under ‘inclusive thresholding’.

I already turned down someone today on HIV and told them that Carleton University of Ottawa said that it's OK. You should be proud!!!

You really have to wonder if the rationale for decisions like this is related to the "critical whiteness studies" movement in academia, and its avowed goal to "end the conept of whiteness."
