Hmmmmm...maybe because nobody REALLY wants to live in the 909, given the prevalence of meth labs and commute from hell on the 91 every day? Could THAT be why the houses are so damned cheap?
And oh yeah--because nobody in their right mind these days would pay $600K for a 1600 sq. ft. house on a 3000 sq. ft. lot.

Okay, that too.
I was going for the possibility that there might be some causal relationship between the price decrease and the sales increase.

HEY!!!!!
I Live in the 909!
There’s a reason why the 909 has meth labs and the OC has the worst part of the 91...the 909 got to pick first.

If not for the bad people and the meth labs, 909 would be a very nice place to visit.
Nice mountains and desert scenery.

Corona ain’t in the OC. Granted, the whole 91 pretty much sucks, but as Ralph Garman put it on KROQ, there SHOULD be signs in Riverside/Corona/Fontana/etc., which say, “If you lived here, you’d be sad!”

My little corner of meth-lab infested desert here in the 909:

Note the snow capped mountains, sunny skies, tasteful landscaping, ample mountain biking trails on the hills north of town ( 180 acres just bought last year for wilderness park) and tree lined streets.
70 degrees in December.
Just sayin’....

Even if you’re the crown jewel in a mountain of crap, never forget you’re still in a pile of crap.
