ABBA wasn’t meant to be Rock and Roll. Their songs were dance music. If you didn’t dance, you didn’t like ABBa.
Now the BeeGees were different. I didn’t like their dance music but have “Nights on Broadway” on my phone MP3 player right now.

I don’t know about ABB, but AWB will not be allowed to have a comeback. We don’t need no Average White Band.
Personally I think the Beatles were horribly overrated.
And Damn straight the BeeGees made and era of music with Disco. Made huge money too. That doesn’t make a song like “Nights on Broadway” any less than art.
