Personally I think the Beatles were horribly overrated.
And Damn straight the BeeGees made and era of music with Disco. Made huge money too. That doesn’t make a song like “Nights on Broadway” any less than art.
The tempo changes and harmonies are better than ANYTHING those drugged out, egomaniacs from liverpool ever did

Other than ushering in a new era of music he Beatles were and still are highly overrated. When it comes to pop music the Bee Gees are hard to beat. They have an incredible volume of work that expands over decades.
Nights on Broadway is an excellent song that I’d rather listen to than any Beatle’s song. I get tired of the Bee Gee’s sound after awhile, but it’s always nice to go back to it.
Regarding the video, I guess that was when they were first started to get into disco (the announcer mentioned Jive Talkin’ (who is she anyway?)). Barry’s beard isn’t grown in yet, and each of the brothers wears a different clothing style. Did Robin always cup his ear like that? And did Ike ever smack Tina around on that show?
Oh well, yer entitled to your opinion :)

Yep.

Agree, its a nice song .. definitely a hit, no doubt about it.

HAHAHAHAAAA ... OK, here is where we diverge ... when there is a BeeGeesFest every year in three major US cities which brings in 10,000+ attendees to each one, then we'll talk ...
Was that Helen Reddy? Yuck. She did the worst song ever recorded.
Yep, that, and the Undertakers were underrated!
Yeah, so was Babe Ruth.
And Shakespeare? Gimme a break.
Wilt Chamberlain couldn't keep up on most playgrounds today.
And Muhammed Ali would get destroyed by today's fighters.
Here’s one you don’t hear much, but a great song:

And Elvis had nothing on Zygi Szymanski, I tell ya!
Yeah, but the Bee Gees are going to have to answer for that horrendous “Sgt Pepper” movie.
