OBAMA ADMITS HE WAS BRITISH CITIZEN AT BIRTH - AS SUCH OBAMA IS NOT A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN OF US

OBAMA ADMITS HE WAS A BRITISH CITIZEN "AT BIRTH" - AS SUCH, OBAMA IS NOT A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES

Barack Obama's official web site, Fight The Smears, admits he was a British Citizen at birth. At the very bottom of the section of his web site that shows an alleged official Certification Of Live Birth, the web site lists the following information and link thereto: FactCheck.org Clarifies Barack’s Citizenship

“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”

That is a direct admission Barack Obama was a British citizen "at birth".

This country started recognizing dual citizenship within the last ten years, when Obama was born it did not do so.

Can you point me to the law that started recognizing it? I'm pretty sure that the U.S. position all along has been that they don't encourage it but it certainly isn't illegal and isn't a threat to U.S. citizenship unless the person knowingly performs one of the recognized expatriating acts.

The truth is, the free press (and in revolutionary times that meant anyone who could afford to have a pamphlet printed — there weren’t the monopolies there are now — though we do have the internet, where you don’t even need $ to print your opinion on blogs, FR, etc) is SUPPOSED to take care of this problem.

If someone is running for office and there is something unsavory about him that the general public might not know, the press is supposed to write about it and inform people. Now there are also libel and slander laws to protect someone against malicious lies, as well.

But our “free press” which is actually a monopolized conglomerate at this point, with most Americans only finding ONE side of any story easily, never even mentions the fact that our new President has never been vetted for one of the two meagre qualifications for the office. They want him, so they don’t care. Frankly, even if I wanted Obama, I still care to stick to our Constitution. Laws mean things, too.

I walked out of a church for the same reason. It wasn’t on Christmas though, that would have really burned me. I don’t understand either why Wright (when it finally did hit the MSM) didn’t have a larger impact.

I like the ending to your story! Good for you! :)

Nothing a parent can do disqualifies a child born on American soil. Alan Keyes should not besmirch his reputation by getting involved in this. Republicans should flee...because it make us look like fools. Sorry, this is the truth. Find some other way to fight the Libs-something that might actually work.

The country has recognized dual citizenship for many years. Lots of American Jews are and were citizens of both Israel and the United States. A child born on this soil is an American by our laws.

It is always been this way. You can’t change it just because you don’t like Obama.

Can’t answer the question? This is not a discussion. It is a fairytale for frightened children. You will not overturn this election-nor would it be in the best interest of the country or party to do so. We need to fight the Dem policies with which we disagree, work for the good of the country where we can and find ways to get more people to vote for us in future elections. This is a distraction at best and makes Republicans look like really sore losers-ask Gore if that’s a good thing.

“...seems oddly unwilling to disclose his birth certificate.”

Maybe it has nothing to do with citizenship; perhaps parentage.

I'll answer your damn question, hectoring one.

Never assume.

Don't ever expect the 'other guy' to pick up your shit.

More questions?

I know. It aught to be changed because it is stupid.

I don’t want to change it. I look at Europe and see the two tiered system, it sucks. The wealthy guy riding with Diana the night she died was the heir to one of the richest guys in Britain...he owned Harrods. He had lived in Britain for a very long time and was not and could never be a citizen. No thanks, I’ll keep our system.

If he was indeed born in Hawaii... THAT is the question that needs answered!

Hawaii-he was born in Hawaii.

PROVE IT!

Who are you...his daddy? Because unless you are, you have no more idea where he was born than anyone else.

Hmmmm. Would anyone care if he was a bastard? A goodly fraction of the electorate is, or is close to someone who doesn't even know who their 'baby daddy' was.

If his male genetic source is listed, who would it have to be for anyone to care? We're not a society that holds the sins of the fathers against the children.

No she didn't, you need to read all of it. That part about being subject to jurisdiction, those here illegally are not.

If illegals are not subject to US jurisdiction, then we can't charge them with crimes. Of course illegals are subject to US jurisdiction, and their kids born in the US are therefore US citizens from birth.

You do have no idea, and no ability to follow the link posts back, I'd gather. Yet you have such high self-esteem!

You assume that the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton would have researched this COLB thoroughly, eh? That's not a good assumption because we see already how thick the stonewall is around it. Don't grant Hillary magical powers of investigative ability, that's just magical thinking. The stonewall needs subpoena, deposition and judicial order to pierce, and then it's just a chance it can be.

And even if Hillary had gotten to the bottom of it, what gives you to think that she would have played the card? That's another assumption -- not as magical as the first, more practical an assumption that she would, but it is not a given.
