My plans are when Obama takes office. 1. Spend more time at home with the family. 2. Spend less on the economy. I don't want to pay any extra taxes to the liberal government coming in. (Any thoughts on what others will do.)
It’s amazing the number of people here who find the cost-benefit analysis of working in a higher-taxed world.

That is very good advice. I recall how, for days after the 1994 elections, being jubilant. After a few days, though, it hit me that, "Hey, my life hasn't really changed," and I went back to day-to-day normalcy.
Folks should remember that, "Life is like baseball. You win some and you lose some. And it's a long season."
Get free from the cash-based economy. Learn how to do things myself. Sarah and Todd already have a headstart by being able to harvest their own caribou, moose, fish and so forth. You may be sure that Todd & family have learned well from their Eskimo upbringing and knowledge to live independently. - Think barter items.
I plan to get a job with the IRS
Can’t beat them, join them.
I refuse to spend one thin dime on anything I don't need.
Gas prices will be absurd this summer, plus home energy costs will also increase.
I suspect the prices of food and other basic necessities will spike.
