I just saw on Fox News that the NAACP is asking the courts to allocate more voting machines for the State of Virginia and add an additional 2 hours to the time the polls are open. The reason: 436,000 new voters have been registered in VA since the last election.
That scares the crap outa me. Anyone care to guess what percentage of those 436,000 are Black voters? Are they transplants from D.C. ?
In '04, Bush beat Kerry in VA by 200,000 votes. If this 436,000 are voters registered by the Dems (the NAACP and ACORN), I think I have reason to be concrened.
Comments? Anyone?
That sounds bogus. Sounds like Tim Kaine is messing around
Virginia has a completely honorable Attorney General, Bob McDonnell. He will require everyone play by the rules.
keeping them open gives them more time to get to vote in different polling places
the rules are the rules,
Maybe people turn 18?
In 2004, voting in Eric Cantor’s solid red district, there was still a 2 hour wait. I think new machines and longer hours are just necessary.
Sometime today there was a comparative listing of the numbers of registered voters by election. Va actually was showing fewer voters registered now then in the last election cycle

IT's A FREAKING JOKE - SO WHEN THE DUmmies POST THIS WE CAN LAUGH AT THEM!!
That’s encouraging. If VA has Early Voting like many States do, then there is no reasonable justification for keeping the polls open an additional two hours.
Good point. But, 436,000 turned 18???? Hmmmmm...maybe not.
He intervened on behalf of the military ballots in Fairfax County and wants to be elected governor next year. As Attorney General, he’ll do his best to uphold the law. I can’t imagine he’d be intimidated by any group and expect to have the respect of Virginians whose vote he wants twelve months from now.
That causes more concern. Where did the voters of ‘04 go and where did the new 1/2 million voters come from?
Virginia doesn’t have early voting, absentee voting, but the polls open and close on Nov. 4th. Even if you want to deny the demographics, the state still needs to expand it’s electoral operations and bring them up to par with the population boom.
McCain can lose VA, NM, CO and NV and still win the election if he carries NH, PA and OH.

Ok, I think we all have plenty to be worried about. In 2004, ACORN registered 40,000 new voters in WA St, only 1800 frauds were caught. The Republican lost by 133 votes in the 3rd recount after being ahead in the first two counts. The dead voted, felons voted, illegals voted. The election could not be overturned because there was no way to tell who the fraudulant voters voted for. This is the DNC-Obama model. A fraudulant, 3rd world, democratic coupe.
Fairfax County does. I thought about voting today but even in the rain, cars were illegally parked all up and down the street at 4:00 p.m. so I opted for another time.
Does anyone know what percentage of registered republicans actually voted in 2004?
Really? I didn’t think it was a county arrangement. The Richmond metro area definitely doesn’t have early voting. But all the same, I feel for you driving in Fairfax. Good luck with that.
