I’m surprised that Penn doesn’t run for POTUS as a Libertarian. At the very least, he would probably get more overall votes than any other Libertarian candidate for President up to this point in time. Bob Barr has already upset many Libertarian voters who see Barr as a conservative pretending to be a Libertarian, but Barr could still end up getting 3% or more of the total popular vote on November 4. I’m mostly hoping that Obama doesn’t officially become the next POTUS and then help to forever ruin the U.S. as a country.

Because I doubt that many Freepers really could care about who or what Larry King spouts in his daily Obama worship.
And he’s probably been more effective in explaining the flaws in Obama’s tax plan than anyone besides Joe the Plumber, including the entire McCain campaign. And he’d shred Obama if he could get close enough to engage him.
You clearly haven’t been paying attention to Penn’s commentary about the Obama tax plan. He’s smart and very capable of explaining the situation in terms anyone can understand. He can also handle going toe to toe with just about anyone, and is very good at shooting from the hip.
Getting Penn in front of ANY sizable audience is good for McCain. Especially when it’s not a case of “preaching to the choir”.
Can someone summarize what transpired? Not in front of a television right now.
Is this someplace on the web we can watch it?
