Here in Reno...if you are up at around 7500 feet ...you can clearly see where they was a huge body of water at one time....marshlands and low lands in the south side of town. I often can picture dinos and other ancient animals hanging out there.
Cut to 2008 where theres loads of houses sinking into said marshlands....

This is a hard thing to do!
I was in my back yard once, looking for rocks that had dots in them.
Couldn’t find not a single one.

Babcock was surveying rocks in the mountains near Goldfield, Nevada, with Hollingsworth in 2000 when he found the tracks.Exciting! Goldfield is just over the hill from where I'm located.

http://sgrivertexas.blogspot.com/2008/07/more-dino-tracks-on-san-gabriel.html These tracks (well documented) are located on the riverbed (S. San Gabriel River)adjoining our neighborhood.
We had a major flood last summer that uncovered some deeper and less worn tracks downstream.
Tyere are also a number of Sauropod tracks in the area. Hope to have a pix for later.
