With one month to go before we chose a President, a lot of tricks can be pulled. However, this year, we may be facing a possible pre-election attack on Iran, or even a terrorist attack.
Step right up and make your prediction.

We are not going to attack Iran, before the election or after it. Iran will get its nukes and we wont do a damn thing about it.Exactly! Look how well things have worked out with North Korea. What's another rogue, terrorist supporting country with nukes? I'm sure Albright will head to Teharan for the photo ops of doing champagne toasts with Ahmanutjob.

It already has. It is in a museum in Africa. Half destroyed and singed. Power module seems to be drained.

No big deal. One Brigade is no where enough to control the country. Look what it took to control Iraq with a fraction of the population of the US and the land mass smaller than Texas.

Don’t know anyone who could serve as the perfect patsy, huh? Don’t worry, team Obama will find one if they need one.

If that should be the case, it would demonstrate again the value of the electoral college.

Their riot is expressed in the abandonment of fairness and balance in new reporting; failure to cover opposing opinions or candidates; failure to investigate unless it destroys or bruises the candidacy of a Republican. That didn't "just" happen in 2000.....

Nothing just happens. Erosion of fairness and balance in journalism has been a soggy hillside since the ‘60s when the left decided that the way to ingratiate leftist dogma was to take-over the media, the classrooms, and the colleges, one position at a time.
Prior to the turn of the last century, each newspaper had its own political bent and bias and the public knew it outright. Looks like we are returning to that period in journalism with one bright spot, and that is, newsprint journalism is fading fast.

I've been hesitant to post this for over a month, just in case somebody thinks it's brilliant and actually tries it, but it can't do much harm now...
I predict that Justice Ginsburg (or Stevens) will retire before the election, throwing the importance of replacing the liberal on the court front and center on the stage.
The last 2 weeks of the campaign will be about having to put Obama in the White House to "take back the Supreme Court." This message wouldn't otherwise have the importance that a retiring justice would give it in the final days before an election.

Sadly, there will be no “October Surprise.” At least none favorable to the good guys (Republicans).
