5:37 CDT first pitch at Wrigley Field in Chicago!
Dempster vs. Lowe. Line-ups will be announced soon.
Aren't you a ray of sunshine?
Actually most Chicagoans don’t like the Sox because they just don’t want to go to a dangerous area for a baseball game. Wrigley is in the middle of an upscale residential area and US Cellular is in the middle of the ghetto. I’m sure that the Messiah, unlike your average Joe fan, feels safe going there because he’s surrounded by Secret Service agents. But the rest of us don’t want to deal with the thugs and drunks in the stadium or riding the EL through a pretty dangerous area at 10 PM at night.
Also, the Sox suck more than the Cubbies this year (neither team should be in the playoffs BTW), which is why nobody cares that they made it.
I remember 2003. Plus, Zambrano has been sucking as of late. His last two starts were horrendous. Since the Cubbies believe that the end of the regular season is the championship, they should just celebrate early and respect their fans enough to not have them spend money on playoff tickets.
‘05 White Sox..dominated playoffs!!! enough said. Might we see a repeat?
No... that White Sox team had good pitching, timely hitting, and good defense.
This White Sox team can hit home runs once and awhile and only got in because they were the least suckiest team in a sucky division. They’ll probably be swept by the Rays, who will in turn get swept by the Red Sox. The Red Sox and their obnoxious fans in Boston will win another series... eyes roll. They’re worse than the Yankees now.
Great art work.
Dempster!!
Hello? Anybody there in Chi-town tonight? LOL.
GO DODGERS!! WOOO HOOO!!!
Thanks, Boston Blackie.
And special thanks to James Loney!!
Go James. I saw what the RedSox did to the Angels, didn’t bother me a bit...:-).
Tell that to the Lakers.
("Los Angeles Lakers" is one of the silliest names in sports, along with "Utah Jazz." Of course, the nicknames did make sense when the teams were based in Minneapolis and New Orleans, respectively.)
The Lakers were originally from Minnesota, the Land of a 1000 Lakes.
