It sure is beautiful. The weather today is perfect. I hope it’s like this all month. I’ll see a few more rose blooms this way too.

1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups flour
2 cups powdered sugar
*Walnuts may be substituted.
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350°
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, wax paper, or a silicon baking sheet.
1. Pour the pecans into the bowl of a food processor and blitz until very finealmost moist. Pour into a medium bowl and set aside.
2. Place the butter, salt, sugar, and vanilla in the food processor or electric mixer and beat until smooth.
3. Add the pecans and mix until combined.
4. Slowly add the flour and beat just until the mixture forms a dough.

8. Pour the powdered sugar into a spacious bowl. Dip the nut balls into the sugar and cover completely.
9. Store the nut balls in tins, separating the layers with aluminum foil or plastic wrap.

I like to make them at Christmas time, too, when I have
a chance! They are my next-to-favorites, after snickerdoodles! :D

Gorgeous, Amy!
Are those aspens? I don’t recognize the bark. LOL Hubby hates it when I do that! I can’t help it! My crowd won’t even stop at a garden center!
What garden center? We don’t see one and you don’t need any more plants!

Good Afternoon Meg
How are you? It's beautiful today. I see the leaves are just starting to change here. Booboo and I will take a ride to the ocean today. I wish we went over the weekend. I bet with the storm Kyle, the surfers were having a great time with the waves it created.

I'll have to give these cookies a try. Actually, I'm not a baker. Booboo will make them. ;)
