I can see something more like a revolutionary war then civil war. The remedy will be the splitting of the US into 3-4 independent countries(composed of states). These units will back out of all US debt obligations and ‘start over’. Almost like the breakup of AT&T many years ago. Each unit will have their own constitution and foreign relations departments.

Canada’s a big place. The Leftwingtards who can really swim well will enjoy it in the winter when we drive them over the International Border.

I’ve been saying that for quite some time. I do not want to see this country torn asunder by yet another bloody conflict. However, I am realistic enough to know that we cannot continue to bleed to death. Even a cornered rat will attack.

Save your Confederate money, the South shall rise again.

If something were to happen, I am not sure that future historians would call it a “civil war”.

More likely, if anything was to shape up, it would roughly be described as urban versus rural.

Shortages of significant impact would draw people out from the densely packed urban areas so that they could ransack small town America.

From a bit of the stuff I’ve seen, though, if there were major civil disturbances, one of the first things that would happen is important assets like oil refineries would be secured, and all travel into/away from large metropolitan areas would be stopped.

If you live in Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas, Kansas, Nebraska, Arkansas or West Virginia you've got a good case against the rest of the country.

But from what I can see this mortgage/banking crisis is spread over the rest of the country.

It hits California, Texas, Florida, the Northeast and a lot of places in between, and if the stock market goes, so does everything else.

So it looks like we're in it together.

Bailouts, Gun bans, tax increases, more government, more pork barrel spending, more infringements, more extra Constitutional crap...

There will be no "oh sh*t" event. There will be no "final straw" in which the masses rise up.

Germany pretty much proved that's a pipe dream. Soviet Union and China too...

What it's gonna take is a solid band of radical Constitutionalists standing up and saying "no more, no matter the personal cost." Just like the Founders did.

You wanna be first to storm the hill? Wanna be first the FBI comes after? Wanna be first to get the ball rolling fighting these petty tyrant wannabe's and end up dead or worse?

The Joe Sixpack crowd bitches and moans, but he isn't gonna stand up and be the first asterisk (arse to risk). Those who do will be soundly denigrated and turned on by their Enemies within and without their Party. They'll be called "kook's", "radicals", "terrorists", and they'll be marginalized like Carl Dregga, or demonized being compared to Ted Kaczynski and Timoth McVeigh.

You ready for that?

Luckily, conservatives have the majority of the guns and money. Additionally, we are willing to die for what we believe in, but much prefer making the other side die for what they believe in.

If there is a civil war, it will be based on race, ethnicity, and class. Our immigration policies are creating a permanent underclass that will be populated by blacks and hispanics who will be in conflict with one another scuffling over low paying jobs and government handouts and they will be pitted against an upper class populated primarily by non-Hispanic whites and Asians. By 2042 half of this country will be minorities [as defined by the USG] and the other half non-Hispanic whites.

I have studied this issue a lot.

It is my believe at this time, that the civil war, if it is to come, will be divided between rural and urban settings.

In rural areas it will be very low key, with a gardual inability for law enforcement to keep order against liberals who have turned fascist. These fascists will take the law into their own hands on certain issues which involve their rural communities. For conservatives who keep a low profile , it should be easy to maintain safety through small neighborhood watch organizations. The right to have firearms will be crucial to defending the homes of individuals and their neigbors.

Rural areas will aslo experience an influx of starngers as refugees from the cities, adding to potential rural violence.

In the city it will be a different matter. Riots will occur, and the national guard will be called out. This time though the difference will be that fascist liberals will begin shooting at national guardsmen, and law enforcement officials , as well as fire fighters. This may necessitate the retreat of the authorities outside of the cities in the USA, and a cordon around them.

Inside the cities, ethnic and minority scores will be settled, and gangs will become the law on each of their turfs. They will unify to fight the authorities, Conservatives in this situation will be in dire straights and will be hard pressed to defend their homes and their families. The key to doing so will be to organize neighborhood guards who are armed and ready to shoot if necessary. They will need their own dedicated power, food and water supplies, because the liberal fascist gangs will try to take them out.

The federal and state governments will try to pacify and reconquer each city, and then enforce martial law. This will be successful in some cases and unsucessful in others.

The rise of city states under fascist thugs will then happen in those cities where the authorities have been unable to exercise pacification or reconquest. These cities will then establish relations with enemies of the USA, and will be supplied by them, complicating matters. This will be especially true of our port cities, which could become beachheads for foreign invasion.

Thats all I have to say on the matter now.

This summary is a result of study. I am not promoting that such a thing occur. But as time goes on, the possibility of its occurance becomes increasingly apparent.

With a failed economy, and no jobs, the face of America may get very ugly in very short order. And when Obama loses the election, the gravity of the split between the " Two Americas" will become quite apparent.

Any genuine conservatives who live in conservative neighborhoods in the urban areas should be quietly organizing themselves now, to ride out such a thing, and/or have a bolt hole in the rural areas.

The space for civilized debate is fast disappearing, when dealing with an "opposition" repeatedly ready to lie, cheat, distort, steal and compromise our national security, sovereignty and founding principles and repeatedly ready to abandon basic manners, civility, reality and logic, all of which are the fundamental basis for civilized debate. What do you call an "opposition" like that. Is it a threat that can be "debated" with no longer?

That about sums it up.

If truth were a 50,000 ton ball of silver sitting in the middle of D.C., you couldn't find it with a metal detector.

It has already started. Battles were at Ruby Ridge & Branch Davidian Ranch in Waco TX. Remember Gordon Kahl? How about Oklahoma City Bombing? I’m sure you can come up with more if you think about it.

What will prevent this from happening and shut these people up for a while is a landslide victory from McCain. The Dinosaur media will continue to dwindle and the Left will continue with their excuses.

Before someone raises the dread “S” word (sedition), it might be worthwhile to point out that our enemy will not be the lawfully constituted government per se, but the shadow government of NGOs, activist gangs like ACORN, the media industrial complex, and the leftists who hijacked the education system in the 1960s.

I only know for certain it is coming and it will be messy

Civil war? Don't fear because it will never happen.

The braggadocio gun owners with their nice homes, nice cars and kids in school will never cross the line of insurrection. Their 2nd Amendment right will take a back seat to losing their walk around and buy things rights.

Insurrection should have occurred on behalf of Randy Weaver but nothing happened. Insurrection should have occurred when the various firearms stores around the country were busted by the BATF in trumped up charges but nothing happened.

Sorry to inform you but folks in this country are too darn comfortable in their perfect worlds to get involved in a messy civil war............

Maybe when the kids are too old for soccer or baseball or football but not right now............
