REMEMBER 9/11: The WTC, Flight 93 and the Pentagon!
Never, never forget the attacks on our country.
We need to be ready to protect this country from all who would do her harm, both foreign and DOMESTIC.
And...Let’s gross everybody out more..........
During two C-sections, a long time ago, I could feel warm blood seeping onto my skin and the coolness of the instruments, too.
It was VERY weird!
Sleep well, dear one!
I couldn’t feel temperatures, but I do remember those last two sections (the first was an emergency and I was totally out). I’ll skip the harried story of JT’s birth for the nonce and go the memories of the youngest. Everything went well for the birth, but the folks in there darn near yanked me off the table trying to get her out. She was well in there!
Then, when they brought her around to me, she was blue. I was told that a mucus plug was in her throat and she would “pink up” right away.
She did and all was well.
Until the next day.
FWIW, she received the highest grade in her chemistry class, a 106!
I have 2 children. One born C-section. He has diabetes, Type 1 - Juvenile. Not long ago I heard it said that there is a high incidence of diabetes among children who are born this way. Made me very sad. My darling child became a diabetic at 11.
BTW, where is that HOBBY HOLLY, (that would be HOB) ;)
I’ve noticed she has slacked off in participation on this thread lately. HOB, get with the program girl.
Well, all 3 of mine were c-sections and none have developed diabetes. It does hang over our heads, but so far, so good.
Well bev, I thought you looked normal, you should see me when I’m bundled up, I look like a grizzly with a blow dry shampoo in a mink coat.
I try to avoid weather which would require bundling up. LOL!
I’ve heard a rumor that Lysie has left us for the evening. I may be winding this up soon, too.
Listening to Glen Beck...great show tonight. it is disturbing that so many American's insist on keeping their heads buried, eyes and ears closed to sanity.
Unfortunately, they are dragging us into the third world with them.
Thanks for getting us started.
Oh yea!!
I am throwing a log on the fire and going to bed...it has been a long day. ((Hugs))
Oh that is funny.
Oh, this picture is great.
Isn’t that something? We now the presstitutes of the screaming media are on orders from “someone” to print only that which agrees with the ideas of sorors, moveon.org. and his many, many organizations. I wish we could pin point each and everyone of them, because the go from our city governments right up to the congressional ones. We are in deep trouble, actually, because this man really does not like America and what she stands for. I just wish the someone in the government would or could get rid of this hateful person. He was born a Jew, during WW2 when the Germans overran his country, his father changed their name to a Christian name (Soros). Because the Germans were after as much property as they could confiscate, Soros, as age 15, joined forces with “the enemy” and directed them to the homes of the prosperous Jews and helped confiscate their property. He is a “real fine” human. UGH. This human excretment is backing the democrat party, with as much money, and more, as he can, without being caught, illegally. What I don’t understand is the Jewish Community backing the democrat party, with soros money backing their candidates? It blows my mind.
Ok... my turn, I heard the drill and asked the nurse if pins were going in the holes the dr. was making. (they were)
Even when I was in the room, Jem, I never thought it sounded like cha-chunk. lol.
It was my pleasure. I miss ATRW and FR when there are issues. When it became apparent that today’s problem was going to last longer than a few hours, I consulted with a few and decided to just take the initiative. I enjoy our daily chats.
Amazing isn’t it?
Now, I didn’t have a drill, so no pins. My caesarians were just rip-and-yank, then staple. Sometime when I feel like it, I’ll tell the horror of JT’s birth. Because of that, when the youngest came along, we decided to utilize a hospital about 60 miles away because it had the regional neo-natal ICU.
Good thing, too.
I love your tag line.
