“Re” indicates that the thing has been done before.
But what is “ecelcted?” “Celctic?”

I am advised of a teeheevee "de-bait" I should watch.

I dunno; removing a worm from a hook doesn't sound exciting. Except for the worm.

Hint. Avoid anything that looks "juicy."

Obama's getting much better at speaking without a teleprompter. Beyond that, well..

Are you asking if I am at home now or when you posted the question? No, Yes

When you asked are you at home did you mean to call this thread or the domicile in which you abide?

If I am at work and on this thread would that be consider home? Do you ever get your grammar correct when you are talk to yourself? Yes. Is there a tag for typing to ones self?

Or don't be so esoteric, are you one of those guys who mother had to bring you back to school the first time you played baseball at recess and scored.

Is there a tag for type to one self?

Do you ever get your grammar corrected while talking to yoursef? Yes often.

Do feel like on one listening when you talk to yourself?

Morning! I’m in a flurry of parish festival and Girl Scouts business, but the former is about resolved (for now) and the latter will be over at 3:30 even if I blow it. Girl Scouts is my least-favorite thing. I love holding meetings and doing activities with the girls, but all the paperwork and trying to get families to communicate is incredibly stressful. Oh, well.

I have my Hispanic Ministry coordinator wrong information about the festival income, and she like to had a heart attack, but it’s cleared up now.

I empathize. I don’t know how mediators can do the job, trying to get people to compromise on something.

As for the math...been there! I’m glad you’ve been able to work things out. That kind of stuff can make you old in a hurry!

It’s going to be in the 80’s again today. Hopefully, I can spend some time in the sun. Just to warm up. :o]

I told her all the money earned went to the church, and she thought that meant gross receipts, but it actually meant after expenses. Obviously enough, in hindsight, but I hadn’t even thought about it.

I’m expecting 80’s today, too.

I’ve always worked around money, and yet, I have a tough time balancing my own checkbook! I mean: How can I be overdrawn? I still have checks left!

Me, too, but sometimes I just get in a fuddle. I got tired of fighting with DP over a money about three years ago, and told him, “You pay the bills. If you blow it all and we can’t pay for groceries, stop me before I go to Wal-mart.”

We don’t have as much savings as we would if I were handling it, but it’s worth it to not constantly be arguing.

Because of my math skills, (or lack thereof, these days) it’s probably a good thing I live alone.

The bills would all be paid in full, but we’d probably starve on what was left!

Money is the one thing that can break a marriage when other things can’t. That’s one area where compromises MUST be made, and I learned this the hard way. But it’s good you are able to work things out in a way that reduces the all-around stress.

He couldn’t be stopped from spending money, even when we needed it for the bills. It was a power thing, in addition to his just basically being a spender. I should have dumped it on him years earlier :-).

My first husband was like that, but he had a gambling problem. When he was flush, he’d buy me things. When he gambled away the rent, utilities and grocery money, he’d take the things and sell or pawn them.

Of course, I was so naive, I had no clue why he was doing those things. About eight years ago, I found out why by accident.

He’s a spender, too. Likes nice things. Of course, now that we’re no longer married, he quit his drinking, smoking and chasing, but still gambles, though now, he sets a limit on it. Too smart too late!

DP doesn’t gamble, or smoke, or chase girls, or drink very much. But he does like to buy himself (and the rest of us) stuff.

Igor was like that. He was materialistic, and bought things because it made him feel “manly.” (See what I’ve provided for you?)

It was all so much clutter. I would have been more impressed if he had put all that money into savings.
