Cats tend to dislike hyooooman foolishness when it comes to such things as decorations and clothing.
(Or, as my Kearen says it, “Hyooomansss are ssso sstrange to me.”)

She didn’t think to ask you if you wanted it?
Yeah. Exactly. I put scratches on several records because I’d forget to close the lid. Dad probably still has those somewhere too. His favorite was a 78 rpm of Mabelline. He played it over and over every morning while he was getting ready for work. LOL

No, we lived two states apart so it never crossed her mind.
She was still in Ohio, and we were, at the time, in New Jersey.
But I remember that lid banging down one fine day while we were over there for Christmas.
Got my fingers good too.
Wasn’t long after that when the record player was replaced.

"Should I send him a Klein bottle of wine?" I think he would enjoy it more if you showed him how to turn a sphere inside out.
Well, I found it interesting.

Turn a sphere inside out?
You implode it with lots of kaboom stuff littered on the outside.
At least, that’s how artillery would do it.
