I saw this picture for the first time over a year ago, and every single time I see it, I develop a burning hatred for all things liberal.

I think of the POWs, emaciated, injured from torture, gathering together to surreptitiously recite the "Pledge of Allegiance" in front of a small flag they sewed together from rags under the threat of more beatings and torture if they are discovered.

But most of all, I think of this (my father):

I think of all the people who have served in all capacities for the good of what that flag stands for, the good people who died to protect it, then I see this picture of this guy crapping on it.

I apologize...I shouldn't even have posted it. No need to piss of everyone like I am. But THIS is who liberals are.

A lot of them hang out here in Santa Cruz, thanks the generosity of our local welfare system. I’ve seen them protesting here in person, and also have seen, on television, the same ones in Seattle, DC, and other places.

Sometimes I wonder if these may be the leftovers from Jerry Garcia’s “Deadheads” who spent their lives following the band everywhere. Seems like the same M.O.

Wonder how many are ACTUALLY Alaskans ... and not just the usual for rent rabble that came up out of Seattle.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they got dropped off the same time the leftists send the 30 or so lawyers to Alaska to dig durt on Palin. Now Alaska is truly poluted and it didn’t take an oil well to do it!

I have a visceral reaction every time I see someone violate the flag. I cannot believe that liberals are so out of touch with the majority of American citizen's that they think this is acceptable and will somehow help them. As much as it nauseates me, I hope they keep it up. They're simply the best campaign managers the conservatives could have.

I mentioned this on a thread the other day....

I was talking to a (young, liberal) girl in the lunchroom at work. She said that she'd "like to vote for Palin, but Palin was just too pro-life".

My reply was "So you can't vote for a person because she doesn't believe in killing babies? That's a tough position to defend." No reply.

Even if I was pro-abortion, I can't reconcile thinking like that. Hurts my head just to consider it.
