docbnj: “Why does Svetlana feel that she needs to wear high heels?”
I think it was a request from Mr. Pingping since without the heels, the top of his head would no doubt be obscured by the dress. In that case Mr. Pingping would be peeping...
(couldn’t avoid the pun)
She’s only 6’4”, just a lot of leg there.

Sheesh,
By the headline I thought this was about Sarah Palin and the little guy, Obambi.
Go figure.
LOL. Even as a young child, I wondered how her dress and shoes grew to fit her 50 foot frame.
Now, as far as the actual thread goes. *IF* she has 52 inch legs (inseam) but is only 6 feet 7 inches tall (77 inches). Then her torso, neck and head only amount to 25 inches????
Not.
Somewhere the math is wrong.
I like the total package, but the figgers are off.
"INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman who grew to be 7 feet, 7 inches tall and was recognized as the world's tallest female died Wednesday, a friend said. She was 53."

BTW, here’s a photo of the star of that movie, Allison Hayes.

Ms. Pankratova is quite attractive. Maybe she should shorten up her dresses to show off her legs a bit more.
bump
As far as the "thread" goes? (52 inches) LOL!
On a sad note, she apparently was 7ft, 7in when she died last month. Thus, a torso of 37 inches.
World's tallest woman dies at 53
Indiana native used 7-foot-7 height to teach kids it's OK to be different
