Good Morning Everyone.

Today is Mr IG and my 41st wedding anniversary. We are going to spend it attending a Seminar at the U of I Hospitals and Clinics learning how to deal with the issues surrounding Mr IG’s diabetic condition

Molly, see IG's post re: diabetes. Thanks. I believe you both have differnt cases, but still the same.

This is a big issue with me. Not in my family, but a dear, dear friend.

Hi IG, didn’t know your hubby had diabetes. Please don’t follow the American Diabetic Association diet. It will cause more problems in the long run.
Lots of research on the web regarding lower carb diets as better for diabetics.
Check out the Mary Vernon site. She is a doctor who deals with diabetics. Also Richard K. Bernstein, M.D.

IG, you should get some excellent info and such at the seminar. Very important stuff, and empowering, too.
