It is time to get things underway.
A very wet Texas is digging out from the damage left from Hurrican Ike. Ike is now over the northeast and is still a very wet storm. Best wishes and prayers to those in Ike's path. As far as I know, we are enjoying a reprieve from tropical storms at the moment.
The NYTs has put out at least 4 stories smearing Sarah Palin. Have they covered the Ayers-Obama relationship? Have they investigated as to whether Nobama is even eligible to run for President? I don't think so. In a non-related matter, stock in the NYTs is at an all-time lo.
Speaking of stock and financial problems, Lehman Brothers has declared bancruptcy and Merrill-Lynch is facing a probable buyout by Bank of America.
We cannot ignore the IRS problems that Rangel is having. Not reporting income from a vacation home seems to be tax-fraud. Is he still active in Congress? Is he a demoncRAT?
There is 49 days left until the national elections. We have some work to do.
Nobama cannot make that stick, especially when we bring up the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers and the USA-hating person that Nobama and his wife and his daughters listened to for 20 years!
GrayNo, I’m holding my own healthwise. I will give Dr. House one more chance Wednesday morning. If he still has a crummy office procedure, I’ll grab my records and make an appointment at my employer’s Care Here Clinic. Granted, I would have to drive to Atlanta for it, but I think I’ll be seen faster and have more attention paid to me.

I heard on the radio (yes, I know I shouldn't listen to Air America but you gotta know what the enemy is doing). They are gleefully screeching that Sarah is HATED in Alaska and that the largest politial RALLY in Alaska history was 1400 people showing up for a protest against Sarah. They said it was called: ALASKAN WOMEN AGAINST PALIN.
Does anyone else know anything about it?
1400 people is not even 25% of the population of Wasilla. Sarah Palin enjoys an 80% approval rate. Of course, somebody is not going to like her. It must be the people she fired and their immediate families who attended that rally.
If 1400 people not liking Palin is enough to make news, why, oh why, don’t the networks cover the 91% of people in US who hold the Congress in disdain? /rhetorical question
