Yesterdays post announced that the schedules for 194 college elevens will be unveiled today. I have only posted a sampling. If I missed your alma mater or an institution of higher learning that you are particularly interested in let me know and I will be happy to post that schools schedule as a reply
Before the schedules there is a story about the Columbia squad and their preparation for the coming season. There is a photo of QB Sid Luckman throwing a pass at a target. I dont know my old-time football very well but I am pretty sure Luckman went on to a successful pro career. Finally there is a story about the Brooklyn Football Dodgers. That is so weird.

The Aussies scored 306? Unbelievable!I am not familiar with the game, but it does seem like a lot of points for anything except pinball.

It’s the little things that make you remember what it must have been like:

I dont know my old-time football very well but I am pretty sure Luckman went on to a successful pro career. Yeah, he did pretty good for himself. Pro Football Hall of Fame
He also played in the most lopsided game in NFL history in 1940 when the Chicago Bears beat the Washington Redskins 73-0.
