Look at the video. He covers his brow as he speaks the phrase, either as an attempt to look cutely innocent or to unconciously hide himself out of shame. He knew the implications of what he was saying, as did his audience immediately.
The difference is the actual candidate saying it vs. anonymous posters with similar views gathering together via the information superhighway. Nobody on this board would ever create a site like the one that targeted Trig Palin that was news yesterday. We are the adults - they are the children.
If you look at the clip there's no doubt that the line was deliberately inserted in the speech by his tin-ear staff, and Barry went with it.
It shows up a contempt for Governor Palin and for women that is quite startling.
These people live in a bubble, and it just burst.

I just watched the video of him giving the finger to Hillary. Now that looked intentional to me and something a presidential candidate shouldnt do..although I seem to remember something about Bush giving someone the finger at some point..maybe during his presidency.
Basically, he has just called every Hockey Mom a pig. That slap in the face oughta go over real well in hockey-fanatic states like Michigan and Minnesota.

Barry's bad judgment has nothing to do with the color of his skin.
It has everything to do with him being an elitist liberal.
The way I look at it, they didn't. The powerbrokers and elected officials within the Democratic party would secretly have preferred Hillary, but the angry left voters gave them with no choice but to go with Obama. Even the superdelegates would have to go with Obama or risk the rage of the angry left and the near liquidation of the party.
I agree that I believe they had a plan to play on Sarah's joke but if this was the line as written they are idiots beyond belief. As I said earlier he is rambling and at the moment he is stuck with nothing more to say he seems to "remember" the joke as his saviour, similar to falling off a ship and a life preserver magically appears. Problem is he didn't find a life preserver but a mythical Sarahcuda that didn't need to take one bite - Obama just offed himself.
No one has any need to “retaliate” with “racist” rhetoric.
