She is everything they hate and then add the fact, the liberals loose this election and you say it ‘may not’ be a hitpiece?

Why would I spend money on a Newspaper just to elevate my blood pressure??? Exactly. I keep telling my parents and my in-laws this but they just can not pull the trigger and cancel. They have got to get their daily leftwing newspaper no matter how much it drives them nuts every single morning.

I think its she was given the option of an abortion, and she and Todd considered it, but ultimately decided to have Trig.

I was so tempted to subscribe to the Az Repugnant for the Sunday coupons, which could help us stock our pantry, but I just refuse to give that rag even one dollar.

I just can’t believe that even the Times would be willing to give McCain/Palin another 3-4% bounce by printing a negative report about their special needs BABY.

I read the article - looks like a "see we're not being mean to her" puff piece by the NYT.
The media seems to have gotten the message, but it's too late. As Paul Harvey says, you can't un-ring a bell.

When was it that Pat Robertson ran for President? The press used their calendars and smoked out the fact that the Robersons had a bun in the oven before they got married. Or, recall the similar history of Ronald Reagan and Nancy.
If that is all there is, this is thin gruel. And that assumes that this is a Drudge alert which will actually lead to a story, rather than disappear in a cloud of smoke.
By midnight, whatever the Times is printing should be known on the Net. Then we can judge both the validity of Drudge's alert and the substance (if any) of the story itself. I suppose the "story," whatever it is, will be noted on this thread as early as anywhere else.

Will New York Times Palin Hitpiece Lead to the Mother of All Boycotts? If it is a hit piece on Sarah and her family, it'll lead to the Mother Of All Backlashes -- a MOAB that'll annihilate B-HO's campaign.

TNYT thinks,,, surely the voters will believe "us". They are clueless, they think they are relevant.

Robertson was in 1996 and you are correct. However, my prediction about the subject of the NYT piece was incorrect.

I think the NYT is floating a trial balloon here. Officially they cannot coordinate with the Obama campaign. So they float the idea of this article. If the Obama campaign says nothing, they print it. Otherwise, it get mothballed.

The circulation of the New York Times, along with the rest of the print media, is in a steady decline because of increased competition, especially from the Internet. That is the trend throughout the newspaper industry.
We've seen dozens of boycott attempts here over the years. They never work. Several years ago, someone tried to organize a boycott of the NBC television network - and their ratings went up.

if they realy really killed a tree to report this. Again, most people either are the product of, forced to get married bcause of OR have a family who got pregnant. Frankly in 1988, how awesome they didn’t have an abortion then...they even had convictions when they were in the 20s.

When I got pregnant with my 4th child at age 38, my OB-GYN almost had a fit, and warned me that this was a possibility. Fortunately, I had a perfect baby boy who is now a US Marine.
