Boycotts are a tactic of liberals, and they generally don’t work.

do freepers still subscribe to their local liberal rags just to get the sports page, obituaries and comics

A boycott is just too easy for me. I get my sports from Yahoo Sports and Barclay's Premier League and my Comics from Yahoo - featuring The Born Loser in honer of the NYT. I periodically visit the graveyard for the obits. Why would I spend money on a Newspaper just to elevate my blood pressure???

it may not be a hitpiece, we dont know.

This is the NY Times we are talking about. They may do their best not to do a hit piece, but their true colors will come out. They cannot help it, they are suffering from BDS, PDS, and elephantitis...

Actually, I doubt the story is about Trig or about Bristol's child.

I think they are going to try to convince people that Todd and Sarah eloped because she was pregnant with Track before they were married.

(Good Lord - it sounds like we're talking about a soap opera.)

It's the New York Slimes. What do you think it is, Palin's favorite cookie recipes?

Boycotts are a tactic of liberals, and they generally don’t work.

They are the next-to-the-lowest link on the political food chain, only higher than petitions.

Who reads papers anymore anyway? Cut out purchased news wire stories and most papers would have a page or two of original content. And most of the original content is crappy. With the NYT it's not just crappy, it's freaking long. So its takes 2-3 times longer to read a NYT article than it should. yuk

Yes, we know. It is the NYT. There is no chance of their running any article about Palin that isn't a hitpiece.

Well, Vanguard has a lot of my retirement funds, and they are third in line holding NYT stock and losing me money trying to keep these liberal pukes afloat. I’m changing that Monday morning and I’m no liberal.

“..do freepers still subscribe to their local liberal rags just to get the sports page, obituaries and comics?”

There is no need to subsidize the garbage coming from the left. I cancelled my fishwrapper subscription several years ago but I still like to hold the comics and sports sections in my hands.

Buy your paper from a vendor or a machine and you won’t be a subscriber - that’s what the NYT and other slime merchants trade on, subscriber lists. That’s how they get their ad dollars. Don’t play their game. Walk to your local machine (free exercise) and put some coins in - you have your paper but they don’t have you on their subscriber lists.

Boycotts are a tactic of liberals, and they generally don’t work.

Hal, if someone is subscribing to the NYT, they are basically subsidizing the propaganda wing of the far left. I know many people who have figured this out and cancelled left-wing publications they once subscribed to out of habit. Call it a boycott, call it saving money, or call it cancelling crappy publications, but the left wing Times is taking a serious hit:

Right, sunmars, it may be a really upbeat, loving piece on the threat to the NYT’s dreamboy. You, sunmars, should just keep dreaming your way to uranus.

It is my theory posted elsewhere that this is a ploy to keep the paper out of the hands of Murdoch by handing it to baby Palin in a defamation suit.
