There is no need to subsidize the garbage coming from the left. I cancelled my fishwrapper subscription several years ago but I still like to hold the comics and sports sections in my hands.
Buy your paper from a vendor or a machine and you won’t be a subscriber - that’s what the NYT and other slime merchants trade on, subscriber lists. That’s how they get their ad dollars. Don’t play their game. Walk to your local machine (free exercise) and put some coins in - you have your paper but they don’t have you on their subscriber lists.

You are still adding to their circulation numbers, and THAT is what determines their advertising rates.
Just do without them. I dumped my local lefty rag subscription back when they were pushing Clinton’s first run for the White House. I don’t buy them and I don’t miss them.
