Sorry for posting this, but it is the most alarmist I have received in a very long time.

Wile it includes many of the hallmarks of the wacky conspiracy theory, tinfoil hat wearers, it made me stop and think for almost 3 seconds...

Where does this mess come from? It seems I remember a very similar set of warnings just prior to the 2000 election...

So - I would imagine that the majority of us here on FR would be on either the Red list or the Blue list!

I remember something almost exactly like this before the 2000 election:

According to the law put into effect just last year, the President has the power to declare martial law for any emergency that he feels is a threat to the nation, and if this happens close to election time, the election will be canceled or postponed and the current president will stay in power. The Constitution will also be suspended. This is all going to happen this September or shortly thereafter.

Why are you posting this on Free Republic? This isn’t the home for nut-case loons who preach pending end-of-the-world scenarios from “unknown” anonymous sources, it’s a place where we post articles authors (and top bloggers) from named sources.

The ‘system’ is not going to collapse in Sept. George Bush is not going to declare martial law, etc, etc.

There are plenty of sites that wallow in this sort of thing. InfoWars, for instance. I think it’s better to leave this stuff there, and discuss it there, than to drag it over here.

My advice: next time you get the urge to post an anonymous email rant - DON’T !
