In perusing the DemocraticUnderground for stories that are truly dumb, stupid, tinhat, reaching and over the top (but I repeat myself), they are now convinced that the Sarah Palin baby story is correct and true.
Again today, there is post after post after post after post on this non-story which is now being taken as fact by both the Huffington Post and the Underground.
Witness this post from some cretin named habitual in which they are beginning to say it was the Republicans who planted this story originally in order to make them eventually look like fools, as if they needed any help.
QUOTE habitual Donating Member (1000+ posts) Sun Aug-31-08 10:12 AM Response to Original message 3. my only 'fear' is that this has been put out there on purpose
Edited on Sun Aug-31-08 10:13 AM by habitual to distract everyone from the real problems that she brings to the table. Then when 'they' come out and prove that this is nothing more than a left wing rumor (that they seeded) and is nonsense, everyone looks stupid and they look clean as a whistle. UNQUOTE
Now, anyone with half a brain, which excludes liberals, feminazis and their ilk knows there is nothing to this, but for further proof they point to this article in something called the "Post Chronicle" (http://www.postchronicle.com/news/original/article_212168574.shtml). The only problem is, this rag simply quotes "online sources" who "say it's true". Effectively, they are telling the DUmmies exactly what the dummies are saying.
If they wish to waste their time chasing their tails, so be it. It is funny to watch and by the way, you may want to take a good look at pharmaceutical stocks. During this election cycle, the lefties are going to be needing plenty of drugs in a failed attempt to maintain whatever little sanity they have.

Are they implying that the Inuit people look like they have Downs Syndrome? Well, being the good little progressives they are, they're melding the Bering land bridge with eugenics ... Inuit came across from Mongolia, Mongolia ... mongoloid. It's axiomatic! < /s>

I just saw this at the top of another thread here:
**Update: TV's Alan Colmes Says Palin's Neglect Caused Down's Syndrome Birth Stress!**
Cripes sake, these people seriously have no shame. But this is not breaking news, I know ... shaking my head with total disgust.

Whats wrong? Too lazy to do your own research? Its there dude...just look!
That's the same line that 9/11 "troofers" and other black helicopter conspiracy theorist nutbags hit me with on a continuing basis.
Like I said--you can't prove it, but you accept it as fact and just assume we'll all do the same? That dog won't hunt. If you want to have a hope of credibility, be able to support YOUR OWN ARGUEMENTS. Don't expect us to do it for you, scooter.
And as previously stated, the FReepers here are concerned about TRUTH when it comes to Obama, not BS lies and rumors dreamt up in the fevered and unmedicated minds of the loopy left. Do try and understand the difference, won't you? I'd have to have to reach through that screen and take your keyboard away....

Occasionally individual posters go over the line here on FR. I cringe but they are usually dealt with quickly. I had never been on Kos or DU until this claim. They are dark places that I would not like to visit again.

"huffington seem to have found some Alaskan Repubs who feel she is not ready"
She is not a party hack. She went against the Repubs when they were dead wrong and put them in their place.
Sounds like someone we need in DC.

So they start a viscious rumor and now realize how stupid they look and are beginning to realize they are hurting their candidate, so like the weasels they are, they are now blaming it on Republicans who “started the rumor just to make them look bad”. OK, got it. Sorry for the long sentence.

That is awful. I just had a baby and I am 45. The baby is healthy. I didn’t plan it. Women do sometimes get pregnent, it happens. What was she supposed to do, go out and get an abortion the second she found out because she was 44? As far as I know, abortion is the only sure way to not have kids. The Democrats are so anti-family. They have created a generation of paranoid people who think it is dangerous to have kids after the age of 35. It used to be that women continued to have children util they went through the change. This just demonstrates what a good job the Democrats have done of making people anti-family. I really admire the lady. She is a great family person who stood by her beliefs. Those people envy her, because she is not like how they are.

You have to have the ability to twist your brain into a pretzel to follow their twisted logic.

They tried getting this into wikipedia yesterday (Note: I SAW IT there. And I saw the page after it was removed.)
Check Palin's wikipedia entry and you'll see that there were 50+ revisions yesterday -- most of them from wiki Admin reversing the foul entries that were being inserted.
