That is awful. I just had a baby and I am 45. The baby is healthy. I didn’t plan it. Women do sometimes get pregnent, it happens. What was she supposed to do, go out and get an abortion the second she found out because she was 44? As far as I know, abortion is the only sure way to not have kids. The Democrats are so anti-family. They have created a generation of paranoid people who think it is dangerous to have kids after the age of 35. It used to be that women continued to have children util they went through the change. This just demonstrates what a good job the Democrats have done of making people anti-family. I really admire the lady. She is a great family person who stood by her beliefs. Those people envy her, because she is not like how they are.

My wife was 32 when we decided to have one, and the DR told us to get tests for Downs. Our daughter is also healthy and just graduated college.
We had a neighbor when we lived in Austin, and she got pregnant at age 43. DR told her the same thing. Her daughter was also OK.
