Damn, Jill. Did you write all that? That’s an awesome wrap, but it must have taken you a couple of hours.

The HD signal is impressive. It is broadcast in 1080i which seems better than 720P that Fox likes to use. It looks very good on my 1080P tv. As a backup, I also record the standard feed on the other tivo. Some very stunning views.

Bio: Matty Whitmore knows first-hand what it's like to have a lot and what's it's like to lose it all. At the age of 18, Whitmore inherited a trust fund from his grandparents, allowing him to live a comfortable life in paradise until partying it all away.

His grandfather is James Whitmore the actor and his grandmother is Audra Lindley better known as Mrs. Roper on Three's Company.

I am watching the 1 hour Survivor preview that is on the tvguide channel on my cable and this is where I found the info..

SURVIVOR PING!

Fang Tribe (Red Buffs): Crystal, Dan, GC, Ken, Matty, Randy, Susie

Kota Tribe (Yellow Buffs): Ace, Bob, Charlie, Corrine, Jacquie, Jessica, Kelly, Marcus, Paloma

Losers: Michelle, Gillian

Episode 2 title: "She Obviously Is Post-Op!"

Tension boils over as food runs dangerously low after some Castaways over-indulge in three meals a day. This must be the Kota tribe. Kingu, on the other thread you mentioned something about them blowing through their food very fast last week.

One Castaway is tossed around like a rag doll during a Reward Challenge. Will her performance cause her tribe to toss this rag doll right out of Gabon? One Castaway sets out to prove her strength on Exile Island. Will emotions caused by the recent death of a loved one prove to be an inspiration or a hindrance to her success?

Reward Challenge: In a remake of the "Kicking and Screaming" challenge from Survivor: Cook Islands, contestants will physically pull members of the opposing tribe off a post and across a goal line. The reward appears to be blankets, hammock, etc.

Immunity Challenge: Appears to involve slipping and sliding down a wet slide into a lake, collecting bags of puzzle pieces, and solving the puzzle.

Spoilers (highlight to see):

Reward challenge winner: Fang

Immunity challenge winner: Fang

Exiled: Jessica

Voted Off: Paloma

Back after the show with the recap.

Thanks for the update.

“some Castaways over-indulge in three meals a day”

They should merge Survivor with Biggest Loser lol!

I saw the heaping lid full of rice being passed around last week. Told the wife “That ain’t going to last long.”

I can’t believe all nine people on that tribe were stupid enough to think that was a wise way to manage their food. Most likely some of the people realized it was a bad idea, but were afraid to speak up.

Best line ever...given who said it.

“I can’t believe I found it and the lawyer didn’t.”

Corrine definitely knows how to play the game.

Whoo hoo! 4-for-4 with the spoilers. But I got the tribe with the munchies wrong.

Kota was still stupid for making that big plate of food. I guess they’re in no danger of starving because they won that fishing gear, but they made the big plate before they won the prize.

Also a funny line, from Paloma after she was voted out:

“If Ace wins the million dollars, I may never watch Survivor again.”

Ace is such an obnoxious ass. Referring to Sugar’s immunity idol as “our” idol. Who had to go to Exile? Who solved all the clues? Who did all the hard work getting the idol?

It would be sooo hilarious if she blindsided him and booted his ass out, after he thought he could trust her completely.

She does. The way she brought Bob into her alliance aggressively without coming across as overbearing, and how she seemed to gain his trust and respect - perhaps an important factor if Bob ever has to choose between the four core alliance members.

Ace - Sugar - Paloma - Who to pick?

The powers that be choked again, and in doing so left one of their group out in the cold at tribal council.

Ace or Sugar should have gone - if they were smart. Look for that to come back and bite the core 4 later. After TC Ace is sure going to know where that other vote for him came from. Ace will be pissed when they get back to camp.

And the Rocket man? Us, oh, and You. Dude, she just told you you’re on the outside of a small group.

“our” idol

No kidding. What a putz.

I was a little surprised that Corrine didn’t manipulate it so that Ace got totally blindsided and voted out. It seems now that he has total advantage and total control.

Think I picked Paloma to go far based on her profile. Was disappointed she wasn’t more of a player/factor. Even still, I don’t see why she was targeted so early. Putting her on the post was stupid...unless you wanted to lose.

She surprised me too! I’m glad she found it ... I think. I haven’t really formed much of an opinion about her yet.
