Is this the new face of Ronald Reagan?

WOW!!! Sarah Palin's pick to be McCain's VP has given me an overwhelming feeling of hope for the USA. I never thought a single person could make this much difference. The typical considerations (in the media) of Romney/Lieberman/etc, made me think of more of the same. I've voted in every election since I've been 18 and certainly remember how "bad" it was during the Carter reign with 21% interest at the banks. So looking at the democrats and expecting a throw back to the Carter demolition of the US was very depressing, and what was going to make a difference with McCain? NOW, with a Sarah Palin on the ticket, someone who is NOT from Washington and who knows how to shoot, fish, and yet still look like a class act. What more can you want? Oh yeah, she quoted my favorite phrase, "the good ole boys network". I am one pumped conservative sister with a feeling of hope and optimism for the future of the USA!!! Is the the new face of Ronald Reagan?

I had thought the same thing yesterday. Palin can speak about the American values she has. Obama and Biden can only trash them.

Palin lives the American dream. Obama and Bides see it as a nightmare that they must wake us out of.

Palin's infectious energy and verve are a severe counterpoint to the pain and anguish portrayed by Obama and Biden. Even McCain was truly energized by her.

FWIW - while everyone was looking for a Reagan, the next Maggy Thatcher was hiding in the wings. (Yeah, it’s a stretch, but...)

Anyway, anything is better than the “Sisterhood of the traveling Mao suits”

After the foolish President Bush and the rino centrists have destroyed the conservative base and worked against Israel and Christians, I still wonder what the V.P. can and will do for those of us who love the America that once was and now is being destroyed by the communist one world democrats and the weak and power mad rino fools who follow the left.
All conservatives want is conservatism and the fools in D.C. can and will probalbly do nothing but move further left and America will destroy itself by those who hate God and His anointed Christ.

I feel like Lincoln did when his loser staff was backstabbing his pick of Grant. Lincoln is supposed to of said to the effects, ‘I don't care, he fights’.

Too many RINOs, wimps, process drones, ‘Me and Teddy work together’ types.

And another thing, she's young. Move all these old GOP losers, that squandered, disavowed, ruined all the energy and momentum of Reagan and the Gingrich Congress. For instance, fatboy, 'Coach' Hasteret.(10 years leader and no one remembers him for squat, save spending out children into serfdom. What does that tell you?)

The first thing I thought when I saw those pics of her and her family was, “they look like us” — just average folks with bills and diapers and all the rest.

The song “Aint that America” came to mind. Wouldn’t that just get John Mellancamp’s panties in a wad?! LOL

Do you not see hope in Sarah Palin as the VP pick?

I certainly do. I look forward to 2012.

A stretch at the moment, maybe but I don’t really think so in the long run.

This lady means business.

I never thought I could support a woman running for POTUS, but VP doesn’t bother me so much. I know it is just a heartbeat (or the lack thereof) away, but I think that until now I just didn’t have a woman I WOULD support, much less COULD.

Reagans shoes are quite big to fill. That said I havent felt like anyone was even in the ballpark until now. If she stays optimistic and focuses (which I believe she will), she will be the best thing to happen to the republican party since the great one, no doubt in my mind!

There are 30 million Reagans in America. At least. But the elitist, prep school, east coast, financialist abortion-lite run the party. Good for McCain that he busts balls. Great that he picked someone that hadn't been golf-buddyied, do-some-real-estate dealed, you-could-give-a-coporate-speach corrupted yet. I bet the K-street firms, Trent Lott, et al are already working over time to...'Help' little Miss Palin. You know, introduce her, show her the ropes and how things are done. Wink wink, nod nod, know what I mean Vice President Palin. College is expensive, your future, your husband will need a job....

Hallelujah!!! Is all I can say!!!
God has answered my prayers!
I have been praying for months, that John McCain would choose a “firey conservative” for his VP.

And I wasn’t even praying for a woman. Just someone that would say, then do, what I thought!
And here she is! Praise the Lord!!!

No.
It isn’t.

Let’s be real about this, ok?
She’s a pretty face, and conservative, but no Reagan.

(make no mistake: I WILL vote for McCain/Palin. But I will not be swept up by the hysteria....)
