Already as a rebelling youngster of a nation, the United States of America won a forever decisive war against an oversea tyrant.
However, being European, I sometimes wonder if our allies across the Atlantic fully understand what it is like having Muslims preying on us and to what degree we are prepared to safeguard the only true civilization there is.
British determination (Saxxon aren't politically correct, but they just won't go away and by today there icons of classic Heavy Metal):

Swedish determination - a small country, yes - but the motor of Scandinavia that (including Finland) constitutes an economy 25% larger than that of Russia measured in (nominal) GDP (not GDP per capita):

The Southern United States.
Serbia
I’m a Southerner at heart, just happened to have been born in the West. Which happens to have a pretty fair amount of the crusader mentality as well.
- Might well be true.
I've been to the south of USA, namely Fla (yes, I admit to having been your average European tourist) and even though Miami today isn't much of a Protestant stronghold, I experienced a great deal of belief in the future of America among people living there as well as a mentality of looking forward to the goals in ones life and working hard to reach them.
From a European:
God bless America!
Poland, Serbia, Lebanese Christians, Greece.
We in the South enjoy shooting things just for the hell of it.
Crapgame, you are an honoray "Southener" :) Welcome too the club.
The Southerners make a big splash, but don't think things through.
New Englanders over-think things too much, get lawyerly, hair splitting and act too little.
Westerners don't want to have to do with anyone

As a counterpoint to that:

Audie Murphy was from Texas. You don’t get the record he did without thinking things through.
Other men from the South that are worth mentioning:

Also, men who fight, are everywhere. Men who lead, with a particular grind them up purposefulness seem to come from German back-round states.
Someone once quipped that in WWII it was American German Generals against German German Generals.
