From the look of things...I hope TN is willing to accept evacuees from other locations along the Gulf Coast as well!
Yeah but think about the hurricane parties you can have!!LOL
It’s become invest 96L.. still rather close to land though.
And my guess would be Hannah will get close to the U.S. and ultimately not hit.
Wow be careful on this one! I have a good account in Orange Beach really nice people over there.
Tis the season! I don’t care what anyone says but August and Sept. are prime time all the time.
I wasn't here---I left noon on Thurs and couldn't come home for a month. No electrcity. We were lucky; only one tree on the house. House across the stree was totaled and they just moved back in last Thanksgiving.
I never want to go thru another dirty side of a hurricane---I live 70 miles inland! We had tornadoes.
I’ve got my eye on it. I’m on call at work Sat/Sun/Mon:’(
I'm all for business, but I'm fairly sure which agency is bi**hing the loudest and I was glad to hear NBC15 fight back.
Anyway...just found that interesting. Back to, hopefully unnecessary, storm preps. Starting with filtering and storing/freezing water. I like using large freezer bags... do they leach like the plastic jugs?
I’ve been blessed. I’ve gone thru several hurricanes as a child...Carla being the worst but only one (Elena) as an adult. We have had lots of depressions and tropical storms but have usually been on the west side of major storms.
Yeah but in all fairness business has a gripe here too. Yes..keep the public informed but be objective about it. If a state has not called for an evacuation but just be prepared then IMO that’s the way it should be reported.
Anyone else remember Elena in '85? Bounced between AL and FL around Labor Day.
