I went to my hospital’s website. Yippee! They have WIFI.

Yes, I had it with me in the ER and then took it right up to the room. I also have my cell phone with me. There are a few areas where we are asked to completely turn it off, but for the most part there is no problem with it.

Truly, with the exception of diagnostic hell in the ER, I have been treated absolutely great here.

Yesterday hubby brought me some yellow roses. That is always cheering.

I was watching Fox during the noon hour covering the Dayton event. At the end of the hour, the host said an Obama rep had been asked to appear with them for comment, but failed to do so! Telling, IMO...

My son, Eric, just called to tell me how happy he is with the VP pick.

My white cell count is well within normal ranges. They feel the fever will follow. Also, they are not forcing me out. I can choose to stay or go home.

As for water, I drink well over 8 eight-ounce glasses of pure water every day. So that isn’t a problem. We’re kinda puzzled where this infection came from.

Good Dog, we’re going to double our donations. I’m so happy Gov Palin was picked, I can hardly stand it. I’ll bet when she gets a moose, or catches a fish, she cleans them hereself.

My uncle used to let the moose feed with his cows. He’d watch them, then the 1st day of hunting season, get the one he’d picked. One time he didn’t hit it quite where he wanted, but my aunt, who was a super shot, told him, “it’s ok, I got him in the juglar”. He had a dairy farm in Palmer. Had Red Danes.

I think Palin is a pretty good pick, especially since she led the fight against The Bridge to Nowhere. She does talk just a little too much for my tastes, but that is minor...

Also, expect a huge kerfuffle on the ongoing Alaska Inspector General's investigation into her possible involvement in attempting to remove a state trooper from some detail...turns out the trooper is an ex of one of her sisters...

And wasn't it delicious watching George Steffie reporting the 'troopergate' story about Palin -- after intimidating reporters from reporting on UOx42's trooper deployment scheme back in '92...;-))

Well, maybe he was a lousy husband AND trooper. Stranger things have happened.

Mr. Wooten told investigators he tested a Taser stun gun on the boy at his request but never threatened the Palins. An internal police investigation substantiated the stun-gun incident and some other charges but threw out most of the rest. Mr. Wooten was suspended for five days in 2006.

Yikes! He sounds like a nutcase to me.
