OK, Jem. I very nearly hadn't had enough coffee to understand your post, but finally the light dawned, LOL!

Good morning everybody! We did have a wonderful drive yesterday up the infamous Phantom Canyon Rd and also Gold Camp Road that took us into CO Springs.

As we climbed to 10,000 feet elevation the forest turned even more beautiful with gorgeous CO Blue Spruce and aspens. We saw deer, ground squirrel, cottontail and raptor birds (either hawks or eagles, I couldn't tell which)

We saw the active mining town of Victor and working ranches in high mountain meadows.

The Lord God's handiwork is breathtaking. We have another drive planned for today up to Cripple Creek although the dog will have to stay home this time.
