August winds down as we head into the last months of the '08 political season.
Russia's withdrawal from Georgia is murky and ambiguous as is the US response to the situation.
Pakistani President Musharef resigns today , and a TD moves over Cuba headed toward FL.

Hi till...............Taking a break from watering and weeding. Think I’m done for the day. Thought if I watered, it might rain. We need it. Will take a shower and then a nap.
Had the 4 year old grandson this morning for a couple hours.

I just read over on the Corner the McCain camp expects a lot of blowback this news cycle...the next 24 hours could be rough the media doesn’t like the fact McCain is pushing back against Barry....and its time to help Captain Bullsh!t.

OK, my day just has been made. I’ve been surveyed! I can’t remember all the details of the questions; the questioner had an accent and it was hard to understand her. But the majority of the questions were slanted about government provided health care. HA! At one point I said, “I don’t agree with the premise of those choices.” Before she could interject something I explained what was wrong. I was strong on giving the free market a chance to work and getting rid of government and insurance intrusion into the system.
She asked me which of the candidates did I think would do a better job for the people in providing health care. HA! Before I said that Nobama would do a lousy job [at every thing], I interjected that it wasn’t government’s responsibility to care for “us little people.” We could take care of it ourselves!
She asked me if I considered myself to be RAT, Pubbie or Indpendent. I claimed independency. Then, she asked me if I considered myself far left, left, moderate, right, or far right in my views. MODERATE, THAT’S ME!!!!
I’m happy camper.

I should have been online last night. Work is extremely busy, got home at 9 last week, and started working because I was so wired. Really tired at midnight, went to bed, didn’t fall asleep until 4. Meeting at 5 am. Meltdown at 8:20 am. Memo to myself: Don’t work 15 hour days...
Really? Interesting. I will have to post my thoughts later on those combinations.
