August winds down as we head into the last months of the '08 political season.
Russia's withdrawal from Georgia is murky and ambiguous as is the US response to the situation.
Pakistani President Musharef resigns today , and a TD moves over Cuba headed toward FL.
Good Morning.
I slept thru the night!!! I have a really busy day today, so hopefully I will be able to sleep again tonite.
Good morning...thinking of our friends in FL with all that rain...I may be fighting the first cold of the season, drat it.
Hope you’re not really getting a cold, Molly......Ugh!
Things are very dry here. Must get out to water this morning.
LET US HOPE THIS IS RIGHT!!!!
McCain says that Obama is getting "testy"....LOL
Guess I am like everyone else, glued to the TV news to see who is going to be who, how one or the other will fall in the poles, who will surge, cross fingers and PRAY.
we need someone with some guts and will do the right thing and the unborn is very dear to my heart, perhaps more than anything else, in this household it is foremost, look at what my dids are doing, ADOPTING THE UNWANTED children, often this current one being gone after, one more will be adopted and in my old age, I am ‘banking’ on this endeavor with what I have, if you get my drift, sure ain't gonna take it with me. By the way, we can't post any pictures on the kids just yet as we have to abide by some rules but bet you life on seeing some pictures soon.
I have started a new project with my ‘spare time’, which I have plenty of, and this is getting religious books, novels and Bibles, to the inmates in the jails. In my careen in law enforcement I have helped put numerous of folks in jail, prison, what have you and I know they need the Lord, it is the only way they will come out ahead. Hope if you have a few books around like these, drop them off to your local city of county jails, no telling just how much good you will do for someone.
Weather wise, we are kinda looking for some of that weather they are having in Fl to come this way in the way of rains, could still use some more but not as bad as they are having it in Fl.
Time to ‘cow down’ so, ‘over and out’ for the time being, ALL have a good and productive day, one filled with love.

Amazing, Kin (blood kin at that) living in a one room shack in Africa making about a buck a month and Obama just lests him sit their. Blood kin don’t count?
As you can see I failed to use my spell check, sorry bout that.
Toby
Nobody notices your spelling, Toby.
We’re just glad you’re here and participating!!
Let's see, the Rays are in first with the best record in baseball. Go figure. Fay is still hanging around in one form or other. Go figure. The Russians are still in Georgia after saying they'd pull out. Go figure.
What happens if Zero picks Biden for VP. Well, I guess you could call that ticket, "Ear plugs."
Go figure...

“Ear plugs.”
.....Good one!
*Chuckle*
Would you please send Fay north and a little to the left? We could use a three-day visit from her.
If it clears up today, the First lady and I will go to the club house. Swim, play some foozball and maybe shoot some pool. Days off are good things. Other items on the agenda will be hamburgers, hot dogs and beer.
Life is good. Thank you Lord.

Raining here. I got the hoses out yesterday and watered everything, for the first time this year.
If I hadn’t got the hoses out, it wouldn’t have rained.
Well worth seeing again! Lots of details...but none of it matters, you know...after all Nixon's "Southern Strategy" ALONE trumps ALL the Dems history! /sarc
Yes, PL is from Amspec and it did appear there before, but I don’t remember the ‘Klanbake’ reference...;-))
I like clams...oh wait...my mistake.
:^)
Good morning everybody. Yesterday we drove up to Cripple Creek using a mountain road called Shelf Road to head up there. It was indeed a narrow, steep, windy shelf ledge that ran up the canyon and made us glad for a 4 wheel drive vehicle. It was a more challenging drive than Phanton Canyon.
On the trip down (other road) we saw huge cattle ranches in the high meadow pastures... beautiful.
I believe we are taking Sam the hound dog to the dog-friendly tourist trap this afternoon.
Golly, I do that all the time...I seldom sleep over 6 hours, mostly it’s 4 to 5 hours. Evidently the something handing out rich didn’t see me. I’m height challenged.
