I think those are the "lesser goldfinches" that we see around here. They love our fountain our front. Haven't seen any for several months, but they should come back in the late winter, early spring. I have seen them playing in the fountain when there was ice it in. They are tiny birds, but apparently tough little things.
It's a miracle I got that photo. It's hard to sneak out and photograph wildlife when the dogs come charging after me to see where I am going. :-(

I have to say that I don’t miss painting. I’ve done most all the mediums (oil, water color, pastel, acrylic, pen & ink), but I’ve always really preferred just #2 pencil. I just like to ‘draw’ best. :)
I bet You Tube would have them. :) I’m not as crazy about ‘watching’ You Tube videos of the songs I like as just finding and listening to the songs by artists I like. :)
I am going to try to find them on Limewire when I have some
time to do downloads. I like YouTube sometimes, but I like
to post music...with graphics...:D
...and just listen when I am doing other stuff around here.
Good - will enjoy seeing them. When you say you 'made' the horses, I'm not sure I understand if you're 'creating' them in a software program, or if you're enhancing, changing or adding to photographs found online? I haven't figured out how to start something from scratch with any 'drawing' tools I have, but I've been able to tweak some drawings I've done on paper and scanned, etc.
Mostly I like to take something from here, add something from there, and dream up different ways to frame & vignette.

Oh I just love birds, and I have so many around here. Every once in a while I have to get the bird books out and look one up.
My daughter is so jealous of all the birds in our yard. I saw two Mocking Birds raise their little ones this summer, and I realized something that I never knew. They never did their singing once they had the babies, only the warning sounds, but once they left the nest they started to sing again. I thought they sang all the time. Dummy me. ;)
I have never seen that bird before, and even the Jay looks different than ours. Ours have a crown on them. Thanks for the pics, I enjoyed them.
