And to Billie, whose words are always so meaningful, I thank you!
I gotta go......be back sometime! See ya later!
Thank you, jaycee. You know it's almost here when school starts though. :)
I've put 3 "L's" in my name before when typing a url and wonder why in the heck

Yum..Lovely..and every day should be strawberries dipped in chocolate day!
It could be in any of the Mediterranean countries or islands. Not an uncommon sight in this part of the world.
It is a lovely sight!
LOL! GREAT illustrations for today’s ‘holidays’ - especially “Be an Angel” day! Tooth fairy day should be fun for OESY, too. And here we are talking about peaches again - that and “Hawaii” (and ice cream) have been holiday’d a lot lately!
Thanks, jaycee! Made my mouth water when I happened upon that strawberry dripping with chocolate, larger than life!, and thought it would be fun to do something with it for "Wear Red Friday". :)
The other day when we were talking peaches, I had to go to roadside market and get some peaches and frankly, just finished eating the last one a few minutes ago.
When we can't find peaches anywhere except the grocery store (where they always taste like cardboard or something), I find that nectarines will do nicely. They're usually always sweet and juicy.
private joke, sorta. :)
That’s such a beautiful, majestic sight - Mt. Rainier in all its glory.
Thanks, Meg. We could have lentil soup and afterwards, the strawberries for dessert. :)

I have seen this squad several times.. always BIG group, very skilled, all together, total athleticism, gymnastic top form & all gorgeous.
Most of groups have several participants that can hardly walk yet alone perform complicated rhythmic dance/gymnastics routines - like I said in earlier post, I am embarrassed for them!
One group last night had 5 majorettes. I dont think they caught the baton 5 times between them all. they were NOT attractive, did not do a good routine & were a total distraction from the otherwise decent band.
See this often too with flag corps.
It seems they have 5 places to fill & take warm bodies, skilled or not. If I were in charge, I would cut the team for a year if I had to use the participants offered. There are a few areas I am a little snooty in.. this is one of them. Maybe my prior MANY years of dancing has made me more critical.
But usually in crowds you see a lot of snickers along the way when the “auxiliaries” perform.(drill or dance team, flag corp, majorettes)
First Football game tonight. Away in Medina.. about 40 miles.. will do a lot of errands on the way.
It’s a winner!

thank you Oesy.. for a small band of musicians they do a good job. I dont think I will see them again this year.
Our school’s band has over 300 members - a swing marching band that REALLY rocks
Yes, I join you in support of the Military.
Good graphic of Santa, the ‘traveling man’.
LOL, fitting for Military day, as we sure offer them the chance to travel.
Do they still advertise “Join the Navy and see the world”?
Good Morning and the photo is beautiful.
