LOL, KM! Today, when I first read about ‘tables’, I thought - oh! I know THAT! I know where the little fork goes, and where the knife goes, where the napkin goes, where the glass goes..............
Ho BOY! Was I in for a surprise!!!

Enjoyed the Mustangs this morning with my second cup~~I have heard that “old” song sung by newer singers but I’m not sure of this singer’s voice. One EARLY star that I didn’t know but heard of is Kitty Wells....would that voice be hers?
To: jaycee
Sorry jaycee I do not know the singer its title is “I love you because...”
Gotta rush away now as it ia a holiday here and I have been invited for lunch.

Gathering Sticks
Through love serve one another. Galatians 5:13
A painful illness had prevented Bible teacher Billy Walker from carrying on his active schedule for several months. He told a group of men that he especially missed being able to preach, but that God was teaching him throughout his recovery.
One day during his illness, as he meditated and prayed, Billys attention was drawn to the passage about Pauls shipwreck on Malta recorded in Acts 28. There is more to the story than Pauls miraculous immunity to a venomous snakebite (vv.3-6).
This great apostle to the Gentiles, preacher to thousands, worker of miracles, and writer of much of the New Testament, was stuck on an island as a prisoner. Did he lie back and bemoan his condition? Did he think he should be treated better than others because he was an apostle? No! The Scriptures tell us that he chose to contribute to the work and needs of his fellowmen. It was cold and rainy, so Paul gathered a bundle of sticks for a much-needed, warming fire (v.3).
Perhaps youve been set aside for a while due to difficult circumstances. Maybe youve reached the time in your life when vigorous activity is no longer possible. Dont despair. Remember Pauls example, and do what you can doeven if its simply gathering sticks.
Start where you are in serving the Lord,
Claim His sure promise and trust in His Word;
God simply asks you to do what you can,
Hell use your efforts to further His plan. Anon.

Lovely message today and I needed to hear it. Thank you again for these Daily Breads, Mr. Mayor.

I just saw that picture of the baby and puppy crawling up the stairs - that very picture hangs in my bedroom - and it is the last thing I see before I turn out the lights every night. Thanks for posting it!

Good Morning Yorkie, I was checking things out before I get busy. Someone wrote about that graphic yesterday and said they made a print from it (or something) and were going to make a pillow with that on it. I don’t know whose post right now or where it is.
I certainly enjoyed the words you posted from Cardy’s P.P. the other day, I think I may have told you already but I forgot...Duh? Also liked that list you posted yesterday! Thank you!

"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.
